Happy New Year, Stacey! 🎉 The toasted sandwiches one was the first of your videos I saw and it got me hooked. Such a great tip to prepare and freeze them, so many suggestions for fillings and the way you inspired people to not only share their own favourites but come up with new ideas was fantastic ❤
I would love to see what the same amounts of product would now cost because we are all world wide complaining about food costs. As far as cooking....different meals would be nice.
I would like to know how much the price of the same groceries has gone up but am excited to see again what you can do with $50. Thank you for all your recipes and printables over the past year. Your the best and I love sitting down in the evenings and chatting with you. Happy New Year Stace.
Have you ever brought a cooked chicken and made a video of the dishes you could make from one chicken? I do prefer everything from scratch, because you are a wonderful cook... but l brought one today, for my dogs, l normally make them a stew with raw chicken pieces, and dried beans and vegetables.. been feeling under the weather .. so thought I might make something for myself from it.. couldn't find anything interesting enough..
I am just waiting for my brother to pick me up to go to his place for lunch & a catch up. So I have made up your chocolate mousse, trifle with a gluten free chocolate cake ( basic recipe out of my head) & using a frozen cherry pack & raspberry jelly as it was all I had in the cupboard. So I will let you know how it went but I do know that it will be one dessert that I will be bringing home the leftover!! I will come back & finish listening to this video later.
I made your Shut-The-Front-Gate caramel sauce to accompany a chocolate souffle for Christmas. Eyes rolled back into heads all around the table. Absolutely brilliant! I felt like a superstar and can't thank you enough! Happy New Year, Stacey!
Stacey, I'd prefer you make new recipes for your $50 meals. You can always check on line if the prices have gone up & can almost guarantee they would've! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year 🥰also, thank you for all the great idea's, hard work, time & effort you put into your video!💖

I am going to have to figure out how to make them gluten free as I have so many happy memories of Boston buns as a kid in the 1950s when I could buy one for a shilling which we got for our lunch money on a Monday because back then we didn't have freezers, in fact we didn't even have a fridge until the mid 50s. The creamy texture of the iced topping was all part of the pleasure!! mmm!!!!!!!! good memories!!
Shut the front gate = church cussing LOL. So good to see you my friend and you look RADIANT! Car threw a rod while we were tuning, so, now I need a new engine and not sure when that is going to happen. Yes, I am depressed about it but better the engine blow now than when I'm cruising on the freeway. And seeing your vids somehow always cheer me up, so thank you for all you've done and everything you do, you truly are a GEM! I hope you and Husband and the fam had a lovely Christmas and that you have a safe, prosperous, and Happy New Year! Love & BIG HUGS!!!

Well it is 9.30 pm New Year's Eve & I am back home again after a lovely day catching up with my brother & yes the chocolate mousse trifle went down a treat & so I came home with a small serve of dessert left in the bowl so I finished it off as there was no sense in keeping it overnight. So the two men loved it. My only thought is that next time I need more liquid to soak the cake. I though there was enough but there wasn't. I will be making it again for myself in smaller quantities but as I love cherries it will be a good excuse! It is definitely cheaper to buy the aeroplane chocolate mousse packs & make my own than buy the small serves on special. They say not to keep it more than one day so that makes me wonder what they put in the serves I buy that last me upto 5 to 7 days. btw sadly I can't stand the taste of tuna or salmon, in fact my stomach throws salmon up just smelling it, let alone swallowing it. Otherwise the mornays would be good. I am not a fish person, I have tried but I just can't stomach the taste of it, so what other food could I use instead? Vegetables I wonder??
Repeat the fifty dollar meal, what it cost a year later.
