I second this. My belief is every farmer should also incorporate an apiary into their farm. I know, it’s extra work, but honeybees are a vital part of the ecosystem and it’s been shown and proven that they can increase yields dramatically.

Nice to see you guys finished planting safely and got all your land seeded. We finished planting last Thursday here in Michigan we have 5000 acres of soybeans 3000 acres of corn and 1600 acres of winter wheat. Our winter wheat is about 5 maybe 6 weeks away from harvest then we will double crop soybeans after the wheat. The double crops are a bonus for us but they can also be risky due to lack of rain and if planted after July 15 they wont be ready to harvest until the beginning of November. Take care and stay safe!

The blackout treatment around the windows on the cab of the 600 big bud looks really good compared to the 525 with the all white cab. I would be cool to see a big bud with a fully modernized cab with modern electronics and joystick controls and a lcd for the engine and drive train instruments. It wouldn't be hard to have one color touchscreen display that would show everything from hydraulics pressures to differential and transmission temperatures along with all of the remotes and the ability to remap the remote functions.

Getting equipment cleaned up is important to make it last and before putting away. Sorry the brute would not start. Am sure you can get it figured out. I trust you will have good crop production this year and be able to replace your drills. They have put a lot of seed in the ground. Am sure it will work out for you. We will be tagging along. Glad you got over a million views. Just great. Got your spraying done-ya for having that completed. Am sure your deck building project will go good. Sounds like you have a big crew put together for getting it completed. Enjoy your lake home. How far away is this????? Guess that is about it for now. You all take care and be safe. The first planter used around the farm by our house was a 4 row corn planter. Then 4 / 8 row corn planters where the main stay back in the 60's. With those small 'seed hoppers' that needed filling very often. Then a 300 acre farm was 'huge' back then. Driving back home is always sad. What farms are left, most are only a house and garage. As they sold off the land and kept only the old homestead. Combined multiple farms to make 3000 to 5000 acres farms. No longer see the small dairy / beef operations. Just huge mega dairy operations of 1000 to 2000 cows. (or subdivisions where my friends farms use to be). Take care and be safe. Hope the family and you are doing well. God Bless Tom

Hi Nick. Canola loves sulfur. Maybe you di a soil test. We usually put down about 100 lbs of that and adjust the urea to come up with the right amount of N. Behind a flexicoil 5000 if you see some of it on the surface you have the depth right. We have seeded canola since 1990 so we have a few years under our belt.

It was outrageous... Normaly we we had around 4.500-4.800 kg and that is very good after danish standards.
