The panel have a chance to reiterate their arguments and the final vote is announced, for this IQ2 debate "The war on terror was the right response to 9/11", which took place at Cadogan Hall on 6th September 2011.
Pre-debate vote: For - 179; Against - 323; Don't know - 200
Final vote: For - 276; Against - 402; Don't know - 42
The motion is defeated by 126 votes.

@mian hassan I am Pakistani and I speak my native language in addition to English. They are people in Pakistan who were educated and not illiterate like Musharraf who looks and sounds like some Street urchin from a ghetto in Dehli, India where he has born. Do you remember the Indian president welcoming Musharraf on his state visit to India is a son of Dehli. Pakistanis are ashamed of this dictator who damage the country so much.
@mian hassan To have a dictator showing the world that a nation of Pakistan cannot govern itself is a source of national shame. If you recall no one would open the door to Musharraf after his coup because that reflects how dictators are reviled in the world. Just like Zia, Musharraf suddenly became a needed evil for the West due to political circumstances - in Musharraf's case the problems next door in Afghanistan. Musharraf sold our Pakistan's interests and brought the worst terrorism and instability to Pakistan in his 10 year illegal military rule which ended with him being unceremoniously kicked out and crying. We need to understand that a soldier's job is to defend the border and not attack his own parliament live a coward. A professional soldier does his job and upholds the constitution - not grandstands on world forums and shames the country. Musharraf was never loyal to Pakistan but to India where his family is from. Do you remember the shame Pakistanis felt when the Indian President Narayan welcomed Musharraf to Dehli as a son of Dehli, India ? Musharraf shamed Pakistan on so many levels.

The issue is the facts in comparison to dialogue. Pakistan, US, EU and all other countries says one thing but does another horrible thing. This is why the trust is lost and it has created chaos. the 3 points picked up by Musharraf are wise and accurate. However the issue is that the country is playing a different role as to what it says because of the Durand Line
