are you trying to tell me its not healthy to drink from a regular garden hose??? Cuz that was literally my childhood while i was out playing as a kid lol
I got mine yesterday. Drove 80 miles to get it. Worth it. Putting it together now qualifies me for an engineering degree from MIT. Parts are hidden everywhere. Can’t wait to use it with my new 36 inch griddle. Great review. I’m stealing your placement idea. I love the way it sits next to the griddle. Special thanks for the comments on the sink and plumbing. I’ve yet do that part yet. My wife wants to use it for her garden. We may end in divorce. It was a good 40 year run. Thanks for the review.
I called blackstone support and they were very helpful the only part u need is a 1/2” x3/4” swivel garden hose connector from Lowe’s or home depot and some pipe tape just make sure to use tape coming from sink as well as hose connector make sure u tighten both ends tight and I had no leaks sinks works fine
What an awesome setup, love it. Very good video. My wife is not too happy though, I just ordered it online!! Thanks for the walk through and review, was very informative. Thumbs up brother. God bless. 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video thanks michael! I love my prep cart, it makes a nice little outdoor kitchen. It took me and the wife about 3-you're to put together also. But it was worth it. I agree it is a little frustrating that they leave the customer to figure the sink hookup. I haven't even hooked mine up yet. Your video was very helpful to help me get my sink hooked-up. They should include the parts for a complete hookup.
I wish they had a really wide shallow drawer that would fit a tray and the warming rack and I wish they put storage below the sink, that way it adds storage and hides the plumbing work. The paper towel holder would be recessed into the top the assembly in front of the sink.
@@anthonybacon7073 I watch all Todd's videos, he does a great job. I am pretty sure Mike is on the Blackstone Pro team now. If you have a change check out the Griddle More Tour they have over the summer that Todd Toven does, he is a really nice and genuine guy in person.
Thank you, I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to figure out the sink. It also took me over three hours to build. I also want an outdoor kitchen and felt that this was the closest I was going to get.
Nice job on the walkthrough pretending to your leaking sink check and see if your gasket inside your hose is broke or too hard and put some thread tape on the threads where the hose connects to that's my suggestions
so got this for fathers day love it still need to put it together........ I want a griddle to so could one put a griddle on the prep surface after prepping stuff or would heat destroy it?
Cool video. I’m also in a similar situation with setting up my outdoor kitchen. Blackstones in my opinion are the best in quality and price compared to some the high dollar brands with their ceramic griddles. I’ve worked with flattop griddles for over 20 years and I love my Blackstones. I have two currently. Good info Sir.
Wow that is amazing thought out each and every nook and cranny on that prep cart! I thought I was the appliance and utensil Queen ....but Alas....you definitely got me beat! Sweeeet set up!
Love your videos, finally get to hear you talk! Absolutely love cooking videos how you just throw stuff on griddle and just say little. That is what made me subscribe to your channel. Keep up the outstanding videos!
@micheal greenlee check to make sure there is a rubber washer in the end of the hose where it connects to the fitting. as far as i can see the fitting should be good.
Looks like it might be missing the rubber washer between the hose end and brass. If that doesn’t work a dishwasher connection kit should have all the pieces to connect, but you might loose some water volume due to reducing to a 3/8” supply line.
You may want to attach a quick release attachment to the hose to undrr sink faucet... so you can move it easily. A cutoff connector would be a good option. Lastly, depending on where it drains, you could just connect it to a Home Depot bucket w lid ( run drain through lid).
Like and garden hose adapter, is the rubber grommet in there between the hose end and adapter fitting. Same basic connection as connecting a hose to a sprinkler. Need to grommet to smash between the 2 ends. Only need Teflon tape on pipe threads. Sink side to the adapter.
I have mine connected using pvc water pipe (similar to the way your kitchen sink looks s plumed) and it runs to the outdoor water Spicket with a dedicated pressure valve. It’s on 24x7 however there is 0 pressure iuntil you turn the sink on for water. No leaks and works like a indoor facet with excellent water pressure
Michael, please help me Obi Won. What is the plumbing piece you got to make the faucet connect to the garden hose? I’ve been to Lowe’s twice to find brand new associates each time. Twice came home with the wrong part. What specifically is the part you used. Thank you for your videos and insight. You’re my only hope. Jim
the only part u need is a 1/2” x3/4” swivel garden hose connector from Lowe’s or home depot and some pipe tape just make sure to use tape coming from sink as well as hose connector make sure u tighten both ends tight
Big Blackstone fan,...and also use one on my channel. The only bad design thing about this prep table is they have the magnetic strip (which is going to be used primarily for holding knives) is above the trash bag holder. Reaching under sharp knives can be slightly hazardous. Also,...contaminated stuff,..chicken blood chances of touching other hand tools if not knives .....great video,..great info!
Look for a dishwasher connection kit for the sink. These kits have a standard hose bib connection on one end and a pipe thread connection on the other ... worked perfect on mine.

If there is supposed to be a gasket in those hose fittings and it's missing then that's why you have a leak, you have fittings that the threads dont match or your fittings arent tight enough.
Plumber here. You should have the supply directly plumbed into your system and a water stop installed at your wall, like you would see under your kitchen sink. Then use a faucet supply line to connect water stop to the faucet. You would also want a shut off valve in the house to winterize the faucet. The drain should be pvc with a trap and vent then directly plumbed to your sanitary. Trap should have a drain to winterize and plug for the sink to keep in sewer gas while winterized. Time consuming and costly but, this is the "code" way of doing it.
@@joshweinstein5843 I used a 5 foot 1/2" to 1/2" water supply line and a female to 1/2" hose adapter for the water supply line for the sink faucet. Then I used a piece o 3/4" clear hose for the drain right to the sink drain and clamped with a zip tie. TH-cam doesn't let you insert pics in the reply or I would.
Nice review of the prep table. Just my opinion it should not have taking three hours to assemble most people said the same thing about the pro series griddle. I put mine together in about 45 minutes.
I assembled mine yesterday and took about the same time. I'm pretty handy with tools after spending time as a helicopter mechanic. There are a lot of pieces. It is easy; just a lot. It is far more involved than assembling the 36" griddle with Air fryer. I'm curious to see how much/little the unit leaks.
