    I tried with my mother in law for 24 years and she consistently lied and sowed hate in my husbands heart for me and for children. I had to leave to prevent our kids from abuse. I came back when she asked us to. I thought things have changed. I put my life in danger and cared for her day and night when she had corona infection. Once she recovered she became her old self putting hate against us in my husbands heart and in her daughters heart. And they together started abusing me and kids. And husband says he will not say a word to his family. And they get free reign to abuse me and kids. Even my sister in laws children. And there is no privacy no safe place for us even in house.

      May allah help you but remember not everyone's situation is the same their are cases completely opposite where natter how well the mother on law treats her daughter in law she still is disrespected and lied upon to look bad so everyone has their own trouble in life whether parents with kids or other members of family relatives even those we called friends

      You have to take an action for your own sake. Leave them, find a good job and live your life

    My husbands mother has never directly disrespected me she’ll act like I’m not there “go with your wife, go live with her, go with her Mexican dad” or simply just make up a random lie to create drama when I’m not around.. How do I make this stop when I’m sitting there while she talks down and spirals into her own little episode. Nobody can take her out. The level of bad energy is overwhelming I can’t seem to fathom it any time I’m around the family. Alhamdullilah I pray someone sees this message and feeds me wisdom

      It's very hard living with in laws. I pray that things will get better for you InshaAllah. They say the most hurtful things and its so hard just to ignore it.

    Sisters, I've found this holiday destination that I need to share with you.
    I can go for however long I want as many times as I want and my husband never come with me. (that's called independence). I don't don't pay a penny for accommodation, food and there's even a chauffeur. I just put my feet up as there's a creche for my kids a child minder and even a bodyguard and security to take care of my kids and myself. No cleaning, no cooking, there's a maid who does all of this. There's free wifi if I want to spend endless hours sharing pics and videos on my phone.
    Whenever I go there I see my Mum and Dad (who are elderly) being pampered and they never seem to ask me to do anything.
    My kids call their their son and daughter in law uncle and aunt and I just thought this man and woman were volunteers working in this holiday resort.
    Everytime I go the menu changes - they must have a full time chef. I've just come back after a weeks' stay and will be there again next weekend.

    Sincere advice to our sisters;
    When you visit/stay over at your parents house, please be mindful that your brother and sister in law are also trying to have stability to maintain and raise their family.
