Assalamualakum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, jazakallahu khayr for this, I’m glad you covered this. Can I ask, if you are effected by the menstruation (terrible pain, vomiting, sickness, passing out, etc) and the only thing offered to you is contraceptive pills (for hormone imbalance) is it permissible to take them?
Thank you for the video, brother. The ruling that you have mentioned that if your period ends during Asr or Isha, you have to pray Duhr or Maghrib as well is baseless. I know some scholars say it but we were not ordered to follow the scholars we were ordered to follow the Prophet (SAW) and the Quran. Since it is not allowed for a woman to pray during menses and she doesn't have to make up the prayers she left due to it, then it makes no sense for her to make up those prayers during which she was considered as "impure".
Also if a woman starts her period during prayer time and she had not prayed that salah yet, then she does have to make it up, because she was considered "pure" at that point. And verily Allah knows best.
It's not like that.. may be u took it wrong way.. it's not that u pray Duhr in case of Asr.. u have to pray duhr AND Asr if u get pure at asr..they said

I appreciate a little more clarification on a period that stops and comes back. 1. Is she or is she not expected to pray or fast on the days it stops? 2. Would it make a difference the amount of blood it comes out after it stopped? I mean if it's small, is it allowed to ignore it? your lesson on the matter is very detailed and highly appreciated.
you start praying when youuve realised its stopped or from when you think it stopped, if ur not sure, go from when u checked. yes, if a small amount of blood it still counts
Selam everybody, I am an ex muslim who is now on her way of believing in islam again. Generally i think islam is a beautiful and peaceful religion with teachings that make the world a better place by doing and avoiding certain situations which i recently disvovered for myself through personal experiences where it would have turned out differently if I trusted God and his decisions for me. But while researching there are always these small details that keep bothering me because i can’t make sense of it. Now one of them is also listed here in this video. I don’t understand why women are called “unpure”. We are not allowed to pray or touch the quran because we lose our “purity” during our periods. The word purity makes me think it isn’t allowed because we are considered dirty during periods in fact we become so obnoxious apparently that even just touching the quran or entering a prayer room is forbidden. It creates this illusion that women are less worthy than men, because they stay clean 24/7. And the story with Adam and Havva enforces this belief for some people wether it happens intentionally or unconciously. I am questioning why is that? I would understand if it said women lose their strength or are weakened during their periods, thus can’t participate in prayer or fasting, but not unpure and dirty! I understand that earlier access to hygiene was scarce. For example washing your hands with anti-bacterial soap or wearing modern and effective menstruation products that help you stay “dry”. So it made sense to say women possibly were dirty back then. On the other hand new technologies evolved that help women stay clean so these rules seem to be “outdated” if it really was just about “purity”. Since the word “outdated” doesn’t exist in islam because the quran is considered universally applicable for people from all centuries centuries, i think there needs to be another explanation. Does anybody have the same problem as me? Or maybe knowledge about this topic?
Assalamu o Alaikum, I'm not answering as a scholar or anything or even someone who has a lot of knowledge on Islam, bcz I don't. I just want to tell you what I understand. I've never heard a woman on her period being described as dirty. Impure yes, but not dirty. And it's not impure in the sense you're thinking. A man does not stay pure 24/7 either. A man is not pure in state of janabah and a man also has to purify himself after waking up from sleep, going to the washroom or passing gas. Period blood is seen in the same sense as urine basically. So when you're bleeding, you don't touch the Qur'an in the similar sense of when you're not in a state of wudu you cannot pray or touch/read the Qur'an. You can do verbal dhikr, verbal reading of quran but not touch Quran directly. Some answers I've seen while researching is you can even read quran online and people use gloves to read it. Secondly, about fasting I do think the woman being tired is a factor because in general men and women if you actually bleed a certain amount from a wound or something, your fast becomes invalid. (Again this is just my pov from things I've researched or been told. Please do your own research and please correct me if I'm wrong somewhere. JazakAllah)
Does the last ruling apply to if we are at work? What if we got off work at 6pm, and reach home leaving 10 mins until Maghrib, where would this fall under?
@@yasminemaamoun8543 ah, I mean if I become aware at work, say zohor, but can only cleanse myself when I reach home, which is nearing maghrib, how does it go then?

well observed sister. He is from Maliki Madhab. He does mention it in video. But I suspect this video would be X3 long if he mentioned all other Madhab fatwas on this topic lol
assalam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh jazakAllah khair for the beneficial video akhi however sheikh hassim al Hakeem explained the making up of prayers when you come off your period very well. when a woman gets pure during asr, she only needs to pray asr NOT Dhuhr and asr. because during the time of Dhuhr she was still impure and on her menses. its haram to make up prayers from your menses which means you can't make up Dhuhr in this case, just pray the prayer that is due in shaa Allah. also I have another question: if a woman gets pure before Dhuhr and she still has enough time to do ghusl and to pray, does she need to make up fajr? because fajr ends when the sun begins to rise so basically the time of fajr has ended. barakAllahu feel
Quick question; he said that if a man divorces his wife while she’s on her period he’ll have to remarry her and the divorce still counts, so if that’s the first one it’ll count as the first divorce and leaving only two more. What if it’s the third divorce? Then what? Do they still remarry?? Can someone pls clarify.. jazakallahu Khairan 🙏🏾
One question please if you become pure before but bath later for example i noticed i became pure at 3 a.m but i bath in the day do my prayers skipped during that time counts?
What if you're outside and don't realize that your period has ended? You won't know the time when your period has ended so which prayer should we do? What is the ruling about this?
Assalam o Alaikum I have one question if possible plz answer me. Someone told me that during mensturation you can't read Quran like you say you can't hold the whole Quran but you can just read from yiur memory, but someone tole me that you can read the memorized ayahs but you can not read Surah Ikhlas during periods😢 Is it true o not plz need much guidance ❤
Wa alaikomu assalam sister, You can touch the Quran with a barrier, e.g. gloves or tissues; but not directly with your bare hands. Alternatively, you can use electronic versions of the Quran, you can find these on any online stores or as a PDF. May Allah reward you.
Please be informed this is the Maliki madhab. Ahnaaf have different rulings. Minimum days for a valid period: 3 days and 3 nights. Maximum: 10 days and 10 nights. Recitation of the quraan is also haram in menstruation, whether from memory or looking in.
As salama aleikoum, I had a question concerning touching a mushaf for the student who is memorising on her mushaf ( so she’s used to the pages etc) or the teacher that teach in a masjid for example. Can they touch the mushaf? Jazakallahu kheiran for your work
According to Hanbali and Hanafi Mad’hab, yes you can with a barrier, however, according to Maliki and Shafi’ei Mad’hab, you can’t. In Saudi Arabia, where the majority are Hanbalis, we are taught that touching Quran during period is permissible if with a barrier, of course. May Allah reward us all and our scholars.
prayer after period (written down;) during Duhr - pray Duhr during Asr - pray Duhr + Asr during Maghreb - pray Maghreb during Ishaa - pray Maghreb + Ishaa during Fajr - pray Fajr

Brother can U please reply.... I thought that bcuz of a very little amount of blood the rules of menstruation will not be applied on me.... And i prayed 100 Nafil for good marks in my result... Will these Nafil be acceptable or not?
I have a question regarding the on and off period. Lets say my usual is 7 days 7+3=10 should be my impure days. So what if i bleed for 5 days then dont bleed for 3 days. Then bleed for another 5 days and finally period ends. So should i pray on the 3 days in between when i did not bleed? Am i considered pure during those days?

JazakAllah)
Do more research and don't give up!
this is the sort of stuff that makes me want to leave islam. the divorce part was so weird honestly
Does the last ruling apply to if we are at work? What if we got off work at 6pm, and reach home leaving 10 mins until Maghrib, where would this fall under?
It applies when you become aware that it stopped so in your case i think it's maghrib
@@yasminemaamoun8543 ah, I mean if I become aware at work, say zohor, but can only cleanse myself when I reach home, which is nearing maghrib, how does it go then?
i want to ask that i am 16 years old and havent started my period it means that i never got my period so does this mean islamically that prayer and fasting are not farz on me yet ? also 2nd thing that i havent gotteen my period but also that i have a white sticky thing that is ig known as vaginal discharge flows out does this count as period?
...if you're 16 and not started periods. Seek a doctor's advice. There might be many reasons why it has not started yet, some can be serious. But this needs a medical review. Thanks, yes im a doc. JzK
Yes go to a doctor. It can happen late but also some things could be causing this. God bless
i never knew half of these things
This video is very informative
Jazakallah khair. May Allah reward you for educating us on this subject matter.
may allah reward you for this video🤲🏻
I thought the maximum days were 10
What is the reference for divorcing a woman on her periods haram
brother . I live in Pakistan and people are not so educated here and believe a lot in the divisions within islam e.g (sunni shia) So i was talking to someone and they told me That If you want to seek help from Allah You should use the reference of Prophet Muhammad saw , this way ur dua would be answered quickly. kindly reply me or make a short video on this topic. Is it allowed to use reference of a prophet while making dua to Allah?
if you have the on and off type of period, are you supposed to pray the couple days in the middle when you know your period will come back after that?
You have to wait 1 Day to be sure it’s really gone
Which madhab have u mentioned ?
U didnt gave any daleel for this as there is much difference of opinion among scholars and madahib ..when you teaching you must support your answer with daleel .. and must tell opinion of all schools.
He's running an online school, and all his lessons are in details. This video is just a summary.
He's also mentioned at the beginning of the video in which book he took this lesson from.
well observed sister. He is from Maliki Madhab. He does mention it in video. But I suspect this video would be X3 long if he mentioned all other Madhab fatwas on this topic lol
@@Total_Entropy36 yes he could brefliy say this that their is difference of opinion .
assalam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
jazakAllah khair for the beneficial video akhi however sheikh hassim al Hakeem explained the making up of prayers when you come off your period very well. when a woman gets pure during asr, she only needs to pray asr NOT Dhuhr and asr. because during the time of Dhuhr she was still impure and on her menses. its haram to make up prayers from your menses which means you can't make up Dhuhr in this case, just pray the prayer that is due in shaa Allah.
also I have another question: if a woman gets pure before Dhuhr and she still has enough time to do ghusl and to pray, does she need to make up fajr? because fajr ends when the sun begins to rise so basically the time of fajr has ended. barakAllahu feel
what about cutting nails and removing hairs?
Quick question; he said that if a man divorces his wife while she’s on her period he’ll have to remarry her and the divorce still counts, so if that’s the first one it’ll count as the first divorce and leaving only two more. What if it’s the third divorce? Then what? Do they still remarry?? Can someone pls clarify.. jazakallahu Khairan 🙏🏾
When ur period is on/off, do u have to pray when its off?
Yes, do ghusl when you get one of the 2 signs and return back to normal until the blood comes back.
@@rhyadmuslimsalam Aleykoum, does it count if only 1 drop comes out ? For exemple: clean for 1 day then 1 drop and completely clean
what arabian 🖖 fall wagina recommend
please make a video on ghusul jzk
This is a previous episode in this course. You can join Muslim Lighthouse to access everything inshaAllah
You’ve earned yourself a subscriber, Allahumma baarik!
One question please if you become pure before but bath later for example i noticed i became pure at 3 a.m but i bath in the day do my prayers skipped during that time counts?
That’s what I always wondered I need this answered
is he muslim or qadyani?
subhanAllah what a blessing to know these things, jazakAllah
very well explained! JazakAllah Khair
What if you're outside and don't realize that your period has ended? You won't know the time when your period has ended so which prayer should we do? What is the ruling about this?
Allah knows best and is the most merciful(I don’t have much knowledge but probably this)
Asalamu3alaykum brother i have a question you say it should come out by it self what about someone take medicine to get period ? Please answer
This was so helpful, brother 😊
There are also small differences between the mazhabs for example regarding the duration of the period
In the hanafi madhab it says the maximum duration of a period is 10 days. Any bleeding after 10 days is istihaada
😂😂😂
Thank you, we dont have this content or type of information in french
Allahuma Barik ❤
Assalam o Alaikum
I have one question if possible plz answer me.
Someone told me that during mensturation you can't read Quran like you say you can't hold the whole Quran but you can just read from yiur memory, but someone tole me that you can read the memorized ayahs but you can not read Surah Ikhlas during periods😢
Is it true o not plz need much guidance ❤
Wa alaikomu assalam sister,
You can touch the Quran with a barrier, e.g. gloves or tissues; but not directly with your bare hands. Alternatively, you can use electronic versions of the Quran, you can find these on any online stores or as a PDF. May Allah reward you.
@@sham9411 Ameeen, and thank you
Please be informed this is the Maliki madhab. Ahnaaf have different rulings. Minimum days for a valid period: 3 days and 3 nights. Maximum: 10 days and 10 nights. Recitation of the quraan is also haram in menstruation, whether from memory or looking in.
Lol my periods are consistently under 2 days.
Three cycles even if the women is sterile is it applicable?
Please provideo references also
I thought post natal bleeding was 40 days ?
If the period goes on and off. And its the days where i dont have my period do i need pray?
Thank you for this. May allah bless you inshallah.
As salama aleikoum, I had a question concerning touching a mushaf for the student who is memorising on her mushaf ( so she’s used to the pages etc) or the teacher that teach in a masjid for example. Can they touch the mushaf?
Jazakallahu kheiran for your work
She can, by wearing gloves, not woth bare hands.
May Allah reward us all and our scholars.
prayer after period (written down;)
during Duhr - pray Duhr
during Asr - pray Duhr + Asr
during Maghreb - pray Maghreb
during Ishaa - pray Maghreb + Ishaa
during Fajr - pray Fajr
Jazakallah for this ❤❤May Allah bless u ameen
Can someone tell me who this man is and what he specialises in? I love his videos very easy to understand, so I am curious to know a bit more about who he is.
what if a woman stopped bleeding completely because of hormonal medication? i’m speaking of myself. it does feel illegal to me since menstruating is a part of nature and i don’t know what to do 😭. because if i stop taking that medication, i will be in lots of pain again and the disease i have will even build up with time
I think ti’s better for u to stop it’s probably a sin
Brother can U please reply....
I thought that bcuz of a very little amount of blood the rules of menstruation will not be applied on me....
And i prayed 100 Nafil for good marks in my result...
Will these Nafil be acceptable or not?
I have a question regarding the on and off period. Lets say my usual is 7 days 7+3=10 should be my impure days. So what if i bleed for 5 days then dont bleed for 3 days. Then bleed for another 5 days and finally period ends. So should i pray on the 3 days in between when i did not bleed? Am i considered pure during those days?
jazakallahu khair brother 💞
