    Thank you for sharing your story with those warm feelings I’ve been watching more than 100 video to find someone encourage me especially I have a GD like you and I exactly had the same feelings thanks for letting me know that there’s a hope that I’m not gonna have another c-section bc I’m crying when my doctors said that I may go with c-section again..I’m 39-1day

    Almost 26 weeks with my 4th and planning a vbac since my last one only a csection because of being breech 🙏🏽🙏🏽 they think I might have gestational diabetes so I was concerned how much this could play a roll in my chances for a vbac but I’m a very thin person naturally but age maybe playing a factor in the possible GD here’s hoping I pass my glucose screening next week!!

    • @TheBonneyBunch
      @TheBonneyBunch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Congrats on your pregnancy! The main concern with GD and a VBAC is if your blood sugar isn't controlled then the baby could get bigger which could cause more pressure on the uterine scar. Being thin or not doesn't really matter for GD. My OB said as long as my blood sugar is controlled through diet then she will treat me like she would any other pregnant person. Let me know how the test goes!! They'll be checking me soon for baby #3 but I know I have it again.

      That's really between your and your doctor but most OB's will not do a vaginal delivery after multiple c sections. You may be able to find someone who will if you are comfortable with the risks but it might take some shopping around for a doctor that is willing.

    • @TheBonneyBunch
      @TheBonneyBunch  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I think the biggest thing is to be your own advocate. If you and baby are not in distress then you should be fine to keep laboring. Don't let them pressure you into an unnecessary c section. On the other hand, if it becomes necessary it's totally ok to have another c section! If you have any questions or concerns I'm happy to answer what I can :)

    • @TheBonneyBunch
      @TheBonneyBunch  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Arose2011 I am 30 now. I was 28 when I had my daughter. All pregnancies in women over 35 are considered higher risk though, regardless of previous deliveries.
