Hey Buddy!, And that was an awesome afternoon finding that trail! Yup for sure you would’ve loved it especially when we didn’t have to turn around and go back.. Hahahahaha! 😆 No editing required at 30:03 mark. I had pushed the button and disconnected them from the communicator so I could talk without being interrupted. LOL You know how those women are can’t keep their mouth shut LOL JK of course, well maybe? 🤭 Haha Oh man yes it was a relief when I seen the road. Yeeees we weaseled our way out of that one! Thanks for watching buddy appreciate the comment. Have a great Christmas this weekend!
I want to Thank you for that video.. When my son was younger I would take him and our neighbors on bike adventures. Few times I got lost, but one time I had no idea where we were. Watching this video gave me such an awesome flood of memories about that adventure. So glad I watched this!
I have to give you guys a big thumbs up before I even start watching your vids, and looks like you have a great group of friends, keep those vids coming.
Man, talking about the trail less traveled... glad you all were able to find your way out without having to circle way back around. Y'all probably kicked up some nice bucks that you never saw. Take care, and happy trails!
I'm glad this showed up in my feed! This sets the bar for all other off roading content creators - excellent multi POV, awesome being able to hear the intercom, NO lame intro & NO obnoxious music! It would be fun to take a metal detector to the area with the rock wall, it looked really old
Hi Calvin, Glad you enjoyed the content. Oh yeah I bet there’s some artifacts that could be found with a metal detector in that area. Thanks for the kind words about the video we appreciate you checking it out!
Hey mornin Norm, Yeah buddy that was fun finding our way through that trail. Beats turning around eh.. Thanks for checking out the video, appreciate the comment, have a great Christmas my friend!
Finally a video that has riding like I do. I definitely have to make my own trails as I am a hunter and when it’s time to retrieve a downed deer you can’t count on trails near by. Thanks for that.
Hi Michael, yeah for sure sometimes you gotta make your own trail. This trail was actually on the map though, but had grown in and you couldn’t even tell it was a trail. Thanks for checking out video!
That looked like riding thru our hunting lease, nice ride. On cold rides here on the Kansas Oklahoma border we bought the LS2 helmet, it's a dual sport helmet that looks like a dirt bike helmet but has a full face shield and a sun visor shield that slides out of the helmet when needed. It really helps on cold weather rides and we also wear a gator to keep our necks warm. Makes a huge difference. Another great video, stay safe 🙏
Hey SuperDave, Yeah Brian the guy we were riding with had a full face helmet I believe it was a street helmet. Like you say it helps keep the cold air off his face he said it worked really well. Had to keep my coat zipped up to keep the neck warm LOL Thanks for checking out the video!
Merry Christmas Folks from your fans in Northern Ireland. Fabulous content from you guys once again this year. Keep up the great work and I’m looking forward to the treats you bring us all in 2023.
Hello there Mark, merry Christmas to you as well! We appreciate you checking out the videos there in Northern Ireland. We’ll do our best to bring you some great videos next year. We appreciate your support!
Man awesome video! First of all, that Van was still there when we went December 3rd weekend 🤣! Man that trail you found is awesome. I couldn't stop watching, had to watch the entire video at once. I love a good trail like that, ain't no SXS's getting down that trail 🤣
Cool trail! Could barely tell it was a trail on camera. Gotta love finding new routes (or alternate ways out)! Nice tail at the end there! Another good one KC. Thanks.
Great stuff! Blazing your own trails. If you were coming up it might have been a different story. I must say I really love the sound of the grizzly. I have a kingquad and I like it's sound but yours is awesome. Don't mind Q. He doesn't know what he's talking about 🤣. Thanks for posting! If I ever get down that way I hope you can show me a few of those trails.
Hey Kract ass, Man we would love to come up y’all’s way and do some exploring on those trails! They look so beautiful from the videos. Haha Q wants a quad to be quiet like a Honda. Only a Honda can be that quiet 🤫 Hahahahaha! Thanks for checking out the video my friend. Hope y’all have a great Christmas and a happy new year.
That was quit the ride ! The off road trails looked to be enjoyable. You even kick that yammy into go speed a few times …. Made me laugh! Merry Christmas to Mis K and yourself .
Heyyy Scotian, haha Yup I like to crack it on the ol Grizz from time to time. Man I tell ya that trail was super fun! Especially when we made it through didn’t have to turn around and go back. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment. Hope you and the family have a Merry Christmas!
Hey mornin Steve, Yeah buddy it was a blast working our way through there, love that type of riding. Thanks for checking out the video my friend have a great Christmas.
Hey I think I noticed a "Dyno jet" sticker on your grizz. They offer a few different models, I'm just wondering which one I need to control when my radiator fan comes on and to richen it up for if I get a performance exhaust and all that jazz. I was thinking the dynojet 5 I believe it is? I know they have a power vision 3.... it can be confusing. Thanks for any feedback Mr Jeff.
Hey there Iron city ATV, I run the Dyno jet Power commander 5 on my machine. It gives you the ability to build your own fuel mapping. Not sure about controlling the radiator fan though? Thanks for checking out video!
I have the GSE trail tamer exhaust (no fuel tuner needed) but I'm looking for a little better sound and I will need a tuner with a big name slip-on exhaust. I bought the 5 hear factory extended warranty so it'll be nice to unplug the tuner and be back at factory setting should I need any warranty stuff. My group rides every weekend locally but I'm wanting to take a nice long distance vacation to somewhere that has higher elevation around Colorado maybe. I believe I watched one of your trips and you all rhode out that way? It's nice riding down this way but in the summer time man it gets so humid you sweat walking from your front door to your truck and that's miserable when trying to ride. I won't bug ya anymore though, thank you for the quick response 🙏
Just subscribed. I enjoy your videos. Just an observation, it's interesting that you don't ride with your lights on when riding in a group. We have always have lights on day or night because it's easy to spot where everyone is at.
Hi Janet, thanks for subscribing welcome aboard! That’s a good practice to ride with your lights on but we rarely do it. We really appreciate you checking out our videos and thanks for the comment!
Hi Dave, that was actually Brian who was riding with us that weekend not Herm. Yes I’m the only one who was carrying extra fuel. I also carry our lunches and drinks for me and Ms K. Thanks for checking out the video!
I would like to know about all the accessories the grizzly has mounted on the handle bars, I see both the grizzly and kodiac have some sort of small round guage mounted on the dash, anyone know what that is?
Hi Keith, the accessories I have on the grizzly is my phone for the GPS unit and another GPS unit that I am currently not using. Also I have a RPM gauge mounted in the center above the gauge cluster. The round accessory on both machines is a mirror we can look in to see if we’re recording on the GoPro. Hope that helps you out thanks for checking out the video.
If you guys are scared of a little tilting and having some twigs touch your quad, then u don't belong on those types of quads. The Grizzly specifically was DESIGNED to go through WAY harder terrain than what had you guys peeing yourselves. I've rolled my Grizzly down hills several times, and only once did it get damaged. If there's bushes, branches, shrubs or even small trees in my way, I just put it in 4 lock lo and bulldoze through it. You have an army tank and are worried about getting a scratch!?! What exactly are the upgrades for? With the riding you do, you could easily ride a stock Grizzly 90. I dont know if there's a word for quads, but if it was a truck, I'd say u have a pavement princess. Let the quads do and be what they're meant to or get yourselves little kitty quads and find yourselves some nice safe paved bike paths to explore.
