Kanami is the main composer. And we would all like to know what goes on in that tiny beautiful genius mind. After she comes up with the bare bones (composed on piano at first), she sends the demo to the rest of the band and they add their parts, and Miku writes the lyrics (most of the time). Then the song is polished. Saiki gets to call a song finished (or else Kanami will most probably keep adding to it Lol)! In her own words Kanami is a 'riff machine'. She read the manual on song writing and threw it in the bin long ago.
My understanding is that mincho sends misa a complete demo, including drum parts & misa & akane work out their part, kick it back (misa said she sends it to saiki at same time she sends it to mincho) & once the music is complete, miku writes lyrics & her & saiki work out vocals. . I think misa is the only one who get bare bones. I think she has pretty much played whatever she wants from the start. Akane usually has to rework what mincho programs on the demo. She has said some stuff wasn't humanly possible. Miku just needs to learn her part. I think they are all getting more involved with the songwriting lile saiki contributing lyrics, etc. I've read mincho has written specific types of songs on request from other members. The maids are My favorite band, along with The Warning.
Preach, PO! Gimmick is not a bad thing in and of itself. Every artist has a gimmick whether you realize it or not. Band-Maid transcends their gimmick with incredible talent, skill, compositional and artistic genius, and being genuine to their craft. This song is just them going to another level and MISA (the bassist) is on a whole other level in terms of talent (the whole band is honestly) but this song really, really showcases just how good she is.
The composer Kanami says that she invents one or two new rifs every day. Most of them are discarded but 5% remain and she has another idea for a song. She is a genius! 👏
Great and insightful review. Remember this, and no Maidiacs--including you-- will disagree with this. Always refer to their costume as "fighting clothes". Say that to someone and it will probably change their perception before they even hear a single note.
Great reaction, liked to listen to your thoughts to just another friggin masterpiece of B-M. And it’s getting even better with every listening. This Band just defines musicality level new every time since the last years … and best bass and drum sound out there.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 On Sep.7, I witnessed Band-Maid's pre-US concert at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo ヽ(^o^)丿. Just so you know, "Influencer" was played as the 13th song and that was the premiere (live debut). Uh oh, don't say "lucky you!" 😜
@@kent-oveprestberg3578 FYI. This MV was filmed at a stone quarry located in Ibaraki prefecture, north of Tokyo. Kanami was very scared when she stood near the brink of the cliff but she could defy the fear once cameras started to capture her playing scene. [source : Gekirock news]

It's a reaction, that you pause should be expected! A banger of a song, for sure! Everyone stands out! Heaven from the MISA solo! Kanami in Mincho mode! The vocals are cool, especially Miku's continuation of Saiki's note towards the end, The Small Pigeon has found her niche, me thinks! Great, fun video!
Pausing is really mandatory for a Band Maid reaction. You basically can't complete a sentence without missing something interesting that they threw in. If I see a Band Maid reaction that's not at least 2-3 times as long as the song, I assume it's crap. People just making faces or going, "Wow, bass solo," or whatever. You can't do their songs justice in so little time with the amount of density that they have. @ChainsawReacts Thanks for taking the time and for your insight.
I just love folks who think Band Maid will do this but Oh Oh they do that Cmon it is a beautiful genius named Mincho who out plays all of you all of the time expect the unexpected with this band I have purchased every piece of recorded music that I possibly can and that has always been the theme especially after Mincho Kanami got her mits in the mix!
This was another great song from Band-Maid! Make sure to like & subscribe! Thank you all for supporting the channel!
The scream from saiki then continued by miku gives me chills
Miku is in every song. She deserves a lot of praise ! 🤟

@@glenmartinez5158 Yep all true! I was just giving an outline of the process!
did they just bring bowie's long-neglected "hunky dory" back in vogue?
"How do they do it?" You answered your own question, my friend. They're F'n magic. :)

5:29 That moment reminded of your reaction when you saw the green saber for the first time on The Mandalorian.
Soon I'll hear Influencer LIVE and "surrender love" to the Maids. That's beyond a Hunky Dory Day! Thx, Chain!
