Other IP's did it better I really wish Netflix opted for other underrated IP's instead of using Stalenhag's work.

It’s about a journey across an alternate history America that’s in the midst of a soft apocalypse thanks to these weird headsets (that I didn’t see in this trailer at all) that it seems MOST people have been sucked into. Where’s the weird, unsettling vibes from the book? The strange, bipedal robots that crowds of people with headsets on are all connected to? From this trailer alone, I can tell this isn’t going to be a faithful adaptation. A few shots are really great and feel like the book, but… Nah

It looks like they showed some of the action scenes. Is that not what you would show in a a trailer? Having not read the book, it looked pretty much like an adventure more than just an action movie to me. It looks like a road trip movie with sci-fi elements.
I was at the NYCC panel and it was very tense. Brown and Pratt did not like each other and very badly pretending to have a brother sister banter. The Russo's looked Joseph Russo looked pissed and said "man I am tired" crossed him arms looked like hew wanted to walk off stage. Anthony looked nervous as f***. My wife and I were near the from row and saw the assistants arguing with security, One of fakest panel I have ever seen, next to the Kraven one.

Their only response to seeing the apocalypse looming on the horizon is "Superman's gonna show up any minute now", which is why they never stop telling stories about horrific, cataclysmic circumstances *just barely being avoided in the end* by plucky, young, marketable faces, who just have so much love in their heart that it stops the forces of history dead in their tracks.
