My 9 yr old granddaughter bought me the same bag from a little donated items Christmas sale they had at her school. I conditioned the leather parts first , used a lint roller on the inner parts, then soaked the whole bag in lukewarm water with a squirt of Dawn dishsoap for about 10 mins. I used a soft brush on the body of the bag. Rinsed til the water looked clean. Pressed the water out with a towel, stuffed the bag with small towels to shape it, and let it dry overnight. Reconditioned the straps etc. Luckily the leather was fine and it looks great.
I use some hand sanitizer for the ink stains or a little alcohol. I clean my purses the same way even the outside of my coach. I’m like you I don’t understand how some people can ruin such a beautiful purse on the inside.
I just got a coach purse that was used by a drug addict that threw up in the purse but didn't fully clean it, so it still smells. Can I do this with mine?

I love my Coach purses & try to keep them as clean as possible. I treat them really well because I spend a lot of money on them.
I keep my pens in a sandwich zipper bag.
You can always tape off the leather parts also
For the pen marks use a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol 😊
Ho would you get grease off the outside fabric?

Julie K as far as I know you can. I’ve cleaned many fabric coaches using this method.
I've removed ink stains with a cheap hair spray like Aqua net. It works great.

If it was me, I’d have just filled the sink with warm water and detergent and give it a good scrub, rinse and hang it outside 😂
