You should try the new Rioja, with less or none oak, searching the terroir and expresion of the grape with old wineyards, differentiating villages, zones or single wineyard wines. It is a great time in Rioja with a lot of variety, from classic oaked wine and fresh wine with less alcohol, more acidity and freshness. I suggest you Jose Gil in Rioja Alavesa.
