When a rolling walker folds side to side, that's the European style fold. Almost all of these have a flimsy fabric seat with hard metal supports underneath on both sides. Those rods put painful pressure on the thighs when sitting for even a short while. Rolling walkers designed to fold front to back (American style) usually have a better, more comfortable seat. I would like an upright walker, but will wait for someone to come out with an American fold model sized for someone who is both short and wide. In the meantime, I will continue using my Nova mini mack.😊

I love it I got it for my dad. I am 5’0. What’s cool ab it, is that it keeps you upright while walking. Seat and sitting is very comfortable. However, he has two complaints, he says that he hits the seat with his knees walking so he has to walk further back and he has a hard time reaching then breaks but hit arms are longer than mine, since it’s the perfect length for my arms- I may need to make it longer for him.

Did she lock the handbrakes before she sat down? I don’t think she did. She should make a point of showing that it should be done before sitting, otherwise, the walker could roll out from under you. Safety first!

Don’t you hit your knees on the sits as you’re walking? I tried the upright last year and had to return it because of that. So if this one’s design allows for the knees to move freely I’ll definitely get it.

The UpWalker with the sliding seat does a better job of that, but this one is pretty good. It is better than the Vive model for clearance and it is much less than the UpWalker

I don’t have any problem with my knees hitting the seat on the Nova Phoenix. I just got mine today, and I love it.

Please do your demonstration with showing how the sitting down feature works. Can you sit down comfortably with this walker?

Yes you can sit down comfortably. The elbow platforms give a little more of squeezed feel, but they don't impede or make sitting less comfortable, they're just in your periferal vision.

I weigh 225 lbs. and I fit just fine, no real scrunched feeling n my shoulders, but different people are built differently. I love my Nova Phoenix Rise-Up.

Weight limit is 300 pounds. I weigh 225 pounds, and the seat holds me securely and my shoulders aren’t scrunched up at all. I love mine!
