great Band
ahhhh. i'm in love. i want to see them live! sooo talented.
I could really feel the "HOT" atmosphere that was created! Those audience are really lucky to have attended this concert!!!! Spectacular! The drumming rhythm has changed to be even more funky!
ゲットインラインめっちゃ難しいのにこんな上手く出来るなんて恐ろしい…笑笑
ミヤシロさんはとにかくソロがカッコ良すぎて大好きです笑笑
I can see that the drummer (Miss U) is actually listening this time. Very Good! Her playing fits the soloist and the harmony they create is really good. Continue to listen more while playing!
Eric's solo was pure fire and energy! I love it!
6:02 - What a blazing note!
alto sax=love!!!!!
This is my fav one of all the bfjo versions of it. The breakdown and build-up with the guest sax player is like erally exciting. My band and I have done a few gigs with this song (and yes, ALTO SAXES RULE...).
Like on all bfjo versions of this song uploaded, I would say "that's an awesome sax solo"... hold on, if you listen to all the versions, she plays the exact same solo in all of them?
This kids sound great. I think this is great for music!
rippin...this is one of my favorite songs to play. im pretty sure you actually cant even hear the trumpet guest's highest note...only a dog could. wow.
Awesome
amazin
gordon goodwin is going to be in milwaukee april 18-19 for the bob kames jazz fest. its going to be awesome!
That trumpet player kills....WOW

Yeah! "HOT"! I love this music! So funky! "Get in Line" and *dances* XD
Eric Miyashiro is the real trumpet pioneer.

ALTO SAXES RULE!!!!
True. Although when learning to solo it's more about mastering the scales and arpeggios.
I love As solo! I swear, that's Japanese Charlie Parker!
Well that's how you learn. Not everyone has the chops to improvise like that on the spot in high school... memorizing a solo is a good place to start. Kind of like how guitarists transcribe other guitarists' licks and learn them and eventually add stuff to them to make them their own. :)
agreed.
Maybe there was a little "Squeaked" in the sax solo, but that's alright. Her overall performance did her justice.
Infact, these girls were attending a one day clinic session with these professionals before the day of this performance.
I wonder if these soloists are also their instructors and/or mentors? Makes sense. Trumpet player was giving entrance cues throughout. Sooooo...
4:12. I've heard that lick somewhere before.
I didn't feel she "choked" on her solo. It was exciting, in the correct genre -very David Sanborn-Like and very "FUNKY". Go with it !
The girls learn the music themselves, and sometimes they received advice from their seniors.
these asians love gordon.
This chart is by Gordon Goodwin.
look at the drummer girl behind. 6:11
Who is the young woman who soloed on alto? She rocked!
C'est un enchantement que de vous écouter sur n'importe quel morceau.La section cuivres est très forte.Mais la rythmique est géniale.Vive les Stars qui viennent donner du plaisir à ces jeunes.
I'm not sure. I heard that lick in another solo.
鳥肌...(゜ロ゜;ノ)ノ
6:01でエリックさんがピースをしているところがお茶目www

What a great thrill for these girls to perform with such outstanding jazz artists-AND hold their own ! Great alto solo(s) and the trumpet !!! double A's and C's galore and a great concept. I even see some emotion from the section trumpets! the piano solo was great too. I especially liked the chorus with just the alto and drummer-he never missed a change !!!
Kudos all around!
So these pro's were not their instructors? Who is?
square drums......
