I took a card layout design, added some scrap paper & cardstock and made easy greeting cards for all occasions. Want to learn how you can do this with the card making supplies you have?

Connie- What great ideas to use up your scraps of DSP & card stock. I sure miss not catching your lives. I really am sad I missed today since I was home today. Here in Kansas we got snow & the blizzard conditions as well. The wind this morning was -14 F, I did not get out at all. Love these cards ! I hope to catch you live next Thursday. I was just going through scraps while I was watching your video. I happened across a strip of origami paper with some gold in it so I made a card using it with strips of gold foil paper as the narrow strips. I love it! TFS

Lots of snow for your neighbor to the east. Here in NW Arkansas, we we have had over 10" and it is still snowing. Great day to make some of the cards you showed us!

Judi, it took a while and treats to convince him to come to the camera.
The recessed DSP makes the card look like the inside of a geode. So pretty! 😍 Oh my gosh, you could add rhinestones, glitter, etc. to the center. It would also look gorgeous to emboss the white on the two sides. You could tear the white paper into a triangular pattern to make it look more like a geode split. Emboss the torn edges with gold...SO many options - you have inspired me!!!!!

Sorry I missed the live, but got to enjoy it anyway. This came at the right time because I needed some card ideas and I like this one. Especially like that there’s a masculine version. I have three embossing folders that would lend themselves well to this for masculine. Thanks a bunch.

What a clever card!
Wish we had some snow in Nebraska. Tired of this drought. It snowed in NM and they shut down the highway going in to Albuquerque from the south! Yep, I think they only have two snowplows in the state as well. My native NM kiddo freaked out. My friend from Ohio in the same town laughed!
Connie! Please ask SU! to sell scoring blades! Sure, they don't "give out" but they do "get lost" ! :)

Love it all! - so pretty! I Hope I catch you live one of these days! We just rescued a 5 mo. Old Morkie,, a Yorkie and Maltese mix! . We named him Toby and he is so cute but a definitely a stinker! Totally get what you’re going through !.

Great card, Connie. My light bulb moment- never thought of only putting strips to back my DSP. I always put a 1/4” wider piece behind the DSP. Thanks for making this simpler and economical using scraps!!!

Love the last cple of cards but 1st 2 too simple for me. I do like card sketches which do a few layers. That is just my preference Connie. Always watch though.
That's the great thing about card making - start with a little inspiration and see where it takes you.
