Discovered you today. Prayed to my guardisn angel for a nice surprise today. Bingo.
Your generosity in sharing your knowledge is really appreciated. I had no idea. I just love your sets to get me going to clean the house. 56-year-old woman here who was blasting you in a small Spanish village this afternoon. Your humility and generosity of spirit is a tribute to your parents. Thanks for helping people to commune with something greater than us all. Dancing is a conduit to the sacred.
wow.
You seriously think James Hype's DJ set popping up on your TH-cam video feed is a sign from a guardian angel? Maybe this is why you live alone at age 56. You're delusional and frankly not intelligent. Stop spreading your delusions as if they are reality. His parents had nothing to do with the hard work and perseverance it's taken him to reach such major success in his field. He has been doing this for years. Maybe you can do something substantial with your life too if you get out of your fantasy world.
boomers and the internet everybody
@@wewillrise3663that was a very kind message she took time to write, appreciate and respect your elders
@@wewillrise3663 meh I thought it was sweet of them to share their experience. Also when they said blasting I had to make sure I didn't see the word finger in front with a double take but i digress, it was a sweet message very pure and nice :)
“How I made a 2-minute song in 20-minutes explained in under 10-minutes” 😂
Yes i realized it too 😂
well said lmao so sick

@@adrianoroj1981 The God Particle :)
It gives me the feelings when you are hyped working on a track till late night and then you hear it the morning after 😅
James is a humble guy. He just knew Modjo's vocal will make the crowd sing and create an unforgettable moment. Combine it with the tech house sound and it's a fresh take on a classic. Knowing what will move the crowd is a real special skill.
James hype HUMBLE??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭
@@michaelfulgieri6954I’d be interested to hear your opinion on why you think he’s not humble.
Nah he’s a narc. But that’s why he has the charisma for preforming live.
@@LAIRD_99 his tik tok posts, him thinking he should have headlined when Eric prydz was on the lineup, dude get your head out of his azz
@@michaelfulgieri6954 couldn’t find that video regardless you can keep hating and keep being a nobody 👊🏻👍🏻
Thank you for sharing the magic 🔥
Damn ❤ thanks for being you Ableton
:DD
James would be a perfect ambassador for Ableton. Business to be done there...
Oh yeah! Producers use Alive and make 💩
8:01 plugin?? amount 100% please help me ty
James’ work ethic is second to none. Inspiring! ❤
He just moves differently!
"You just go a couple of notes up and that will sound nice" - all the music theory necessary :D
How you can make a track in such a short time and then play it the same night is just amazing. Found you while watching youtube and started to listen to your sets.
Repetition and experience. It’s all in the ears !!
cuz he just used presets!
and now he played an extremly lame track just like always in his sets... xD
@@hxploit Well maybe you will get as good as him, until then i feel you have a way to go.
@@legendofthenight2008 And where is your music?
I really appreciate these videos when I come across them, James. They really help me to break out of overthinking and just go with the ideas
i mean i guess when you're making music with very very little artistic value
This track sounds like something made in 20 minutes 🙂
thought exacty the same, the lead is so flat
Totally agree. Thanks for watching ❤
@@JamesHype hahahaha
You can't make all the people happy all the time
but it works fine
Hahaha. My a$$ you made that in 20 minutes. You explained it in 20. Haha.
Bro pointed out my "skill issue" in five thousand languages 😭
Thanks for the insight James! you are the man!
I love how you just shown this, literally getting into DJing and music making this week, this was very helpful Thank you
I love how honest and open he is about his production, big up James
Except the bit about using AI to rip the vocal from an extremely famous track which is the entire reason it will work in the set.
(Whilst committing copyright infringement in the process of course)
Yes, he's very open 🤣.
@@Bthelick do you know what AI tool he uses to do? I’ve heard UVR is good
@@HamandCheeseToastie-um1wh EaseUs vocal remover is good one I've been using . Free.
This is click bait, there’s no chance he made this in 20 minutes. A couple hours yeah but not 20 mins. If you believe this then you’re nothing but a silly billy sorry
@@johnc3451 no one cares how fast he made it he’s giving you tips on how to do it ya freak
Couple things: 1.) bass kleph has a free plugin called wash out or easy wash out that does what you did with the verb and gain but it’s literally one knob and super easy to use. 2.). I would have reverse reverbed that synth in during the build. Could have added a nice touch.
But I’m not James hype so it don’t matter 😅
Knowledge is knowledge there are a lot of paths to getting a dancefloor moving.
"I would have reverse reverbed that synth in during the build." I would've reversed you straight out of my house and straight into a taxi if you started talking shit in my gaff.
He could shit on the table and people think it's good😂😂
its good. thats good shit
he just did
Thank you James! You’re the most real and down to earth pure talent, hardworking, passionate person ive come across ❤ please make more of these, truly inspirational
Bro is the farthest from down to earth, keep riding little bro
@@michaelfulgieri6954 you are so sad 😭
@@LAIRD_99 dude I am the happiest person on earth, I microdose every day and I see the light man. This dude has frat bro Brooklyn mirage non plur vibes. Also he thinks he’s the best DJ of this generation. He even said on video he deserves to headline over ERIC PRYDZ!!
“Like the CDJs are broken” 🔥
Honestly, thats the most valuable way of giving back to the (producer)community.
Someone who made it on Top of the World, totally down to earth explaining how he’s Producing, even showing that its not always 300+hours in the studio to get something out there 😄
At some point, watching other people produce, the mindset and the way they execute their ideas in the DAW… becomes the greatest lesson!
Thanks for sharing your way to make Music 🫶
I think it's very good 👍
But how do you make the mixing and mastering on the plain? 😮
More of this!! Love it!
I miss writing things in Ableton Live - or... writing things. Corporate america really sucks the soul out of a dude. What a fantastic video. This is a huge throwback for me as I was playing with Ableton Live and Reason and ended up writing 90% of my stuff in Reason and then using Live for... Live stuff. Now I just DJ. Where do the years go?
I couldn't help but throw my gun fingers up and dance in my seat listening to this when you let it ride. Thanks for the music 🙏
he made banger in 20 mins!🔥
Oh man if I was in the crowd saying ayyyyyy ohhhhhhh on beat at the drop I’d be having the time of my life
1 plugin in the master chain is out of this world
awesome of you to share this process with us
8:01 plugin?? amount 100% please help me ty
James hype just showed yall trust the process because any little impact goes a long way ❤
🔥SICK!!! Your tutorials are very helpful to me! Thank you!❤
At the video that James did a music in 15 minutes, I've commented that he did more than me in my whole life, and people start like the comment and said to me to study and start, I'm here again to say, yes, after that day I've started producing and proud to understand almost everything that james show on video! Let's go guys, WHO DOES THIS!
The James Hype remix and DJ Will Clarke remix to Lady is CRAZY!!!!!! Love be piano in James’s and the bass in Wills 🔥🔥
You could have been napping in that plane, but no, you‘ve worked on a new banger. This is why you’re on top, this is why you‘re the hardest working man in showbiz since james brown.
The name JAMES (Hype- Brown) is evident to hardworking😂
Knee pads arriving next Monday!
The reaction to saying anything remotely positive about someone else explains the downfall of society quite well.
@@donobrien1850 What?
@@jacopo525 haha, good one 🙃
oH I FoRGOT TO mention my sidechain masterpiece .........Nice Levels !
The time James needs to make a track is the same of me taking a dump. Unique talent right here!
only 20 min for a dump? that is also a talent :O i guess you dont take your phone with you to the toilette then 🤔 hahaha
Au top comme toujours !! 🕺😉
this is the coolest video i've seen in my life
As soon as I heard the acapella, I’m hoping this track is going to be available. Checking SoundCloud straight after this video.
what the hell is this absolute bangeeeer
Can't wait to see you play someday, best DJ / Producer so far no question !
I congratulate you, I think you will compose beautiful music to dance to. Thanks for your work 😍😍🤩🤩
What a legend 🔥
Dude it's so nice you're sharing this in this way, this is really helpful for us amateurs out there messing about. Keep it up man!
That Synthe sounds absolutely wicked . . . . all at 20000ft in the air...High Hats....very high...😂👌👍🔥🔥🔥
love this! you can cook anytime, anywhere, with any equipment. make your creativity portable
Anything this man touches turns to gold 😮💨👌
hahahahaha
that's bangin. awesome track.
Epic and extremely valuable bit of insight into the Hype production ting! ❤
Amazing stuff this guy is killing everything he does right now. Fully deserved 🙌
Love it
Wow, so we can actually make a song sound great even without a bassline! I considered bass a “must” but thanks to JAMES I’m now hyped that songs with no high production needed can easily play on dancefloor and make people jumping up and down😮!!!!❤
but the track does have a bassline
@@Crispy_Bacons no bro, where is it?
Thanks James. Really love the dives in your tracks and how you make it seem so easy. Love the remix
Played in Portugal, sick 🔥
Love the vibe & tenacity, awesome to see the process ! 👏
This is banger hehe. I'm waiting for this piece to come to light :D
Really like the idea. I think it might be cool if you delete the piano in the first 8 bars after the drop (kicks harder) and put in some vocals chops like: Lady (synth plays) give me tonight (synth plays ).. and so on. Might be cool for the crowd to sing along. 🎉
respect for showing people that we can just get music out there!
I haven’t finished watching this video and I already want that edit!!
Thanks James for these golden nuggets 🙏🏾
FULL SUPPORT on Dj James Hype !!! You're really right and generous guy :)
This is legit so cool to see the creation to playing live transition.. more of this! Nobody's done this before in the same video..
people need to understand muddiness comes from clashing frequencies (bass from kick and sub clashing/ high leads with high vocals clashing) if you carve out frequencies like what hes done with the kid and sub which is 80% of muddiness then your sorted, and also knowing how to level a track is one of the most important
thank you brotha , really helping me understand the magic behind automation
As soon as I heard the acapella of Lady by Modjo I already knew the track was gonna be 🔥🔥
This "acceppella" is "Lady" by Modjo, which is probably the biggest House banger of the year 2000 😅
Im amazed and honestly I dont understand why this reaches commercial loudness and does not sound muddy on festival speakers with so little mixing and/or mastering. Please explain.
I know im not james, but from my experience its his sound selection and volume balance. He knows exactly what sounds work together with little to no mixing
@@JaKunaMusic well im producing over 10 years and I get the part with the sound selection and balance of the spectrum but imho there no way that with this little processing a song can compete next to a fully mixed and mastered song in a set. maybe Im wrong, then I want to know how. its almost black magic to me at this point.
@@caynofficial I was thinking the same, it sounds quite unmixed to me.
Muddiness and commercial loudness do not coexist because of the other. Muddiness is only a problem from a poor mix
@@caynofficial I'm clearly not James either, but that song only plays like 90 to 120 seconds in a set where there is a lot of noise from the public and it's outside.
Plus the fact that you basically see him do some mastering while he is is making the song. He said that he checked the wave form in recordbox to see if it looks normal prior to using it on stage.
When he uses effects in his sets and sounds or samples from that DJX pad box, none of those outputs are mastered.
There also are plenty artists that make EDM live on stage which also is not mastered. It says a lot about the samples he's using IMO.
That piano 🔥
We need more videos like this. Thank you
I’m beginner dj and I hope to be like you one day ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Thanks für sharing this! I really like you keep things simple for those DJ Edits and not focus on 200 little details which nobody would notice. Great work!
🔥🔥🔥
the thing is, those 200 little details add up to a substantially improved track
God particle is very useful. I use that on almost all of my edits. It manages to keep a lot of the transients in too
Learn so much each time watching your videos! Thank you for being so transparent and sharing your knowledge!
Top, Top, Top ♥
Lo mejor de todo es el video de la pista en vivo y el publico gritando de alegria! No soy un super fans tuyo, pero si tengo claro que eres de los mejores en esto
James Hype proves two things as a producer:
1) your general audience doesn't really value complexity, so stoppp iiiiittt
2) his undeniable talent. While keeping things simple, he creates catchy and groovy sounds every time
I love these videos. Not a DJ. Just a raver for a hot minute 😂. ❤ learning about how DJ magic works. 🙏 for giving back to our community 🫶🏻
Very cool breakdown, easy to follow. Nothing fancy but so effective. Nice.
A freaking Wizard 🧙♂️🎛️❤️🔥🙇🏾

MAIOR CLASSICO DE TODOS OS TEMPOS Modjo - Lady
Please James, give life to that piano. He lacks velocity, sustain and colour.
Btw, thank you for the content 🤝🏻
Thanks for showing this James. Gives me some confidence in my own tracks, because I make similar "simple" music. I always wonder if it could hit at the club.
There we goo!!!
This is him being "locked in" imagine studio James Hype..
Thanks for this master clase, sure inspiration comes easy in this private plane. 😊
Awesome content, James. Thanks a lot. This is really inspiring😊
Thanks for the sample pack and showing your style of music production. more of that would be great! thank you James!
Great job !
Me :
Some hours to find the good sounds,
Some days to know the mao software
Some days watching tuto on how to get the right effects
Some years to masterize 🤣
And you : 20 minutes
Thanks for sharing
super simple, nice
The walk throughs are excellent! Thanks James for that. Always on point for the explanations....would be good to be able to chat with you at some point on production! 👍
