the Kh29TE and KaB500KR-E both are TV/contrast guided, once it locked a target (and hopefully tracks it) it will guide/track it, but both Smoke and Foliage can interrupt it (both only track moving targets below the range of 8 or 9km)
@@christopherchartier3017 Yes, you are right. Kh-29TD/TE can lock moving targets at 8 km, and KAB-500Kr can lock them at roughly 4-5 km because of the lack of contrast. But Gaijin's logic is unpredictable, so CONTRAST guided missile needs closer distance when ground is covered with snow.

I believe they can’t track moving targets from very far either since they lack an IR imaging tracker like the agm65D, or am I wrong?
