My parents have it. It's an amazing car. Engine take a while to break in before you feel that nice v6 working. The issue is the transmission. It's always upshifting far to early and downshifting far too late.
Never noticed the engine feel breaking in on Toyota. It could be that the dealer filled up with some nasty fuel. Put the transmission in Sport mode, that is where it belongs.
The auto stop is the hold button. NOT the button w/ the A on. the button with the A on it and a P is your parking sensor button. That's the noise that alerts you before when youre backing into something. how close you are....(you're welcome, carry on)
Toyota made a mistake dropping the V6, im also not a fan of how the infotainment screen sits up on the dash. it looks like it was tacked on, it looked better when it was down like most screens are. but on the topic of the V6, people think a V6 is only for towing, exactly it is for towing, but you know what consists of. it also includes people, the vehicle also weighs 4200 lbs, a turbo is nice and all, but a V6 doesn't need any help. because your payload capacity, and towing it all adds up. another thing, the turbo doesn't give you that much better gas mileage in the real world.
My mom just got a 2022 Highlander XLE same color inside & out. Nice looking car with a lot of features. However, the wireless charger stops working after a few minutes every time.
I'm so torn between the RAV4 Hybrid or this one! I'm from New England and am a nurse, so need reliable in the snow. Also have 2 boys and a large dog. Loving the highlanders space, but love the RAV4 so much too. Any feedback anyone?!
Hey. I was wondering if i can get one of these with a premium sound system with subwoofer? I'm asking to avoid salesmen anytime soon because it won't be another year before i can buy one which i think that's likely. Just wondering how much it would cost me? thanks.
I gave that some thought too! When you consider having the weight of the drive train and the loss of torque with a rear wheel drive I like the FWD better. 😁🛫
I have an old highlander now & I'm shopping for another now. I LOVED it. At 127k I have had zero problems, highly recommend.

That is a design flaw with the mirrors, our 2021 Limited does that too.

Rav4 hybrid in my opinion, unless you need the extra cargo space.

Yes, JBL system is offered, I think it has 12 or 15 speakers. Really good sound though, and good bass from subwoofer.
But they should be Rwd instead of Fwd
