Thank you so much Jo, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and stunning and gorgeous card. I really really think these cards should be framed and put on the wall. Just brilliant absolutely brilliant. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Absolutely beautiful and refreshing card. I admire your creativity. I’m hearing the birds outside my window as I am writing this. Spring is just around the corner here in Ontario Canada.
Hi Joe, I watch your videos all the time. I always look for your shows, I enjoy your work and how you explain things. You have a very calming demeanor! So SWEET.
Fantastic. My hubby came in while I was watching this and he asked me who I was talking to. I was answering all your questions and commenting on the card. I'm right there with you. Thanks again.
This is so beautiful Jo! and you broke it down so it would be easy to replicate. I, too, have been fearful of the gell plate, but now I am anxious to give this a try! Thank you so much for sharing your time. xo
Love this card Jo. Just waiting for my first Lavinia order to arrive so watching your videos for inspiration. I find myself answering your questions as I watch haha. Cuppa tea and cheeky toast today xxx take care
Hi Jo. I bought my starter kit after your really inspirational video. Total newbie to crafting. Your artwork and tutorials are awesome, Heartwarming and brought a big smile back to my face. After 4 years recovering from sepsis, I’m sitting here covered in ink 🤣and really looking forward to the next one. I think my billy might have been overloaded with ink as it was a bit bobbily on the gel plate and my stamp took on a bit of the gel colour, but for a first go not too bad. Keep your tutorials coming please. Thank you.
I have cut some of the unneeded parts of the stamps. Beautiful, You always make beautiful cards and give me great ideas. I bought the field grass because of you, I like using it so much.
A beautiful card Jo and I was very interested to have a tutorial on the ghosting of the stamps... it works beautifully and also the water drops were just enough... love the pink ink pad as well... :)
Absolutely beautiful Jo. Thanks for walking us through all the steps and your thought process, it's really helpful to know why you do things. I have never seen anything like this on the gel plate before, you are a joy to watch. Take care and stay safe 😘😘❤️
Jo - I love this along with all your tutorials. Not sure if you will see this, biut, if you do, please can you advise the make of chalk pastel pencils and where I am likely to get them from. Thanks. Dianne
New subbie here. This is lovely stamping and so creative. I thought gelli plates were only for making messy backgrounds and images. This is the first time I have seen the process of using stamps! TFS!
That was quite magical! I had no idea you could stamp onto the gel, it produces such a different effect - I must put a gel press & brayer at the top of my list for pay day 😊
This piece is beyond lovely ... so serene and gentle. Do you know if Lavinia has discontinued the tiny butterfly set? I have looked on their website as well as Ecstacy Crafts in Canada and I have not been able to find it. This will be another piece to add to my Lavinia journal. Thanks Jo.
Thanks so much for watching Bonnie, I have just looked and it appears that the butterfly set has been discontinued…I’m so sorry,,,but maybe the £1 butterfly stamp would work…xx🧡
Jo. I so love watching you these beautiful works of art. If you get this message please send me the name of the acrylic plate you used under your gel plate. Thank you in advance. Dottie in Texas

Hi Elizabeth, lovely to meet you and thanks so much for watching. The round gel press and the large acrylic block are both available from Lavinia stamps website. They ship worldwide too. The best card is a smooth one that is good with water, there are a few good ones, Multifarious card from Lavinia, Stencil card from Clarity stamps and super smooth card from Pink frog crafts....hope that helps....xx❤️
Hi Jo I have just tried this and whilst I did get something vaguely resembling yours my inks beaded up dreadfully and , I think, spoilt the piece. I used the same inks you did. Do you have any suggestions to avoid this please.

Hi Jo, To be honest I just purchased a gel press and a Billy Brayer and I am quite scared of it , I promise, I will start getting braver :)
That was quite magical! I had no idea you could stamp onto the gel, it produces such a different effect - I must put a gel press & brayer at the top of my list for pay day 😊
Oh Jo, this is so beautiful!!! I am afraid of the gelly plate but so intrigued by your inspiring talent!!! ❤️❤️ Love these!! Thank you!!

@@JoRice Thank you so much,
Love this, but not keen on the pink. I personally would use red - personal choice. Another one to try, thanks Jo!
Such a beautiful project and very inspirational, thank you!
Do you know if Memento ink would work as well or would it dry to quickly on the plate?
