How to remove stuck game in xbox one

- Make sure you apply enough pressure to get the game out, don't just stick the paperclip or whatever you use in, push hard and it will come out every time. Click SHOW MORE.
After you do this, the console will NOT take a game, follow these steps to get it working.
Hold down the power button on the console until the xbox shuts down.
This clears the cache in the system.
Make sure to watch the light on the power brick so that it changes from white to orange!
Wait for 10 minutes or so and then turn it back on, the console should work now.
You can also set your console to Energy-saving through Settings, Power & Startup.
This will make the console go into deep sleep without staying on in the background.
This might help with the issue, otherwise you should return the console for warranty.

So my console just acted up on me for the first time. Battlefield Hardline was inside of it and when i tried to eject the game all it did was make some crazy noise and act as if nothing was inside. Jumped on here no more then 10 minutes later came across your video tried what you showed and it came out. Thank You! All ready stuck another game in and it's reading it and everything. You sir are a lifesaver.

It worked, for the people who aren't getting it, use a paper clips that is Med or Large. Then push it far back as far as it can go and use force and eventually it will pop out

Worked like a charm! Thnx just a FYI after this worked the disc feed wasn't working anymore. I did a simple hard reset and it fixed the feed issue.

Guys if it isn't working you need to get a normal size paper clip. All we had were mini ones and I had to buy a normal size box and and it worked.

You must press in the hole or in the orange marker

Did it with a tooth pick worked like a charm
I may have figured out what triggers this. I had a power surge and immediately this happened. The cure was to unplug the power brick completely. Then all face buttons on the console worked for me again

I don't know what you're talking about because my Allen key will not go in all the way to matter how much pressure I put on the Allen key and the measurement of Allen key is 0.05 it will not go in all the way so you make it sound like it so easy but yet sometimes it doesn't work

Guys, did this is a way to fix Orange light on adapter? My disk still in Xbox One, and my adapter is orange light, turn the Xbox on, it light on and off, I'm still head the sound, did the manually eject is a way to fix that?

For three days I'm sitting here trying to get a disc out, first using a little paper clip, then a large paper clip, then I buy a set of Allen keys to try this, about to go insane... Turns out there was no disc in it.

This did not work. I even had others try. My brother asked if my game was even in there and shoved another game in; it did not go in completely, but it went in to the point where we used a pliers to get the second game out. We pulled the second game out and the first game came out with it in perfect condition!
Matthew Virnig Wow you shouldn't do that man, you can really damage your games. Sorry you didn't do it right. There is no trick to this but just a hole you put the allen key in and push, that is all, simple as that. You just didn't push hard enough. It works every time.

II N3MES1S II Hey im using a very long paper clip, and I can push it In to the point I feel I am going to lose it inside the xbox. the clip is maybe 5 inches long and im inserting it into the whole next to orange rectangle. otherwise, it seems to go in as far as the allen key but it will not budge. I'm applying A LOT of pressure and the xbox even slides a little on the table. what do I do?

A much simpler method:
- (While xbox one is on) Hold the power botton on the console until it turns off.
- Once off, turn the Xbox One on by pressing the disk eject button. Or hover finger over the buttonless model.
Wallaa game should eject.

Any idea how to fix an xbox one that won't load games anymore? My 2 year old managed to put in 2 disks at once and now it just grinds and won't play any disks. :(
Are you sure there isn't another disc in there? If you are then hold the power button on the console until it shuts down, then watch the power brick light so that it changes from "white" to "orange" normally I just leave it overnight and turn on next day. It should work then if not send it in for warranty if its still under warranty but don't tell them your son put multiple disc in it.

If you are putting the allen key in the right spot then you have nothing to worry about. Just push harder and the disc will come out.

State Boogie if you got a light you should see a lil orange dot right where you gotta put the key or clip or whatever you gonna use. if you count the little like crosses right under the button on the side there it's right after the 3rd cross
What do u do if the disc tray won't even take the game when it's on
Hold down the power button on the console until it shuts down, then watch the power brick light to change from white to orange. Give it some time before you boot it back up, this should get it to work again.
