I was never taught much, if anything about plants. I love them so much, bear paws are my favourite. This is incredibly helpful, what may be common sense for others isn’t for some. I appreciate you teaching me about the cuttings and trimmings!! ❤

Can they do well in normal light ,indirect basically and how fast these beautiful succulents grow within months or years?to determine the pot size
Thank you for this lovely 👍 video.

They are quite slow growers so this pot that I have for example took years to grow to this size. They will thrive indirect sun but you will not see those promiment red marks on the paws.

My bearpaw's leaves are so compact I can't get to the stem to trim him. My paws aren't nearly as plump. I hope he'll get more plump as he gets bigger.

Hi there. Yours must be a wonderfully compact bunch of paws. If you want to get them to be less compact for the purpose of propagation and cutting stem, take them off the sun for a few days, they will elongate and thus will create space for you to reach out to the stem. Then just slowly introduce again to sun after propagation.
I am sure yours will be plump as they get bigger, just ensure you got a nice soil in there that will help them store in more water.
      All the best!

Did it ever happen that the leaves became a little sticky? Is it normal?
I have one and a few leaves became a bit soft and sticky. Is it because it needs water?

Hi there. 😍 I have never experienced mine to be sticky. The leaves do get soft when pinched and looks a bit wrinkly when they need water. They would soon het plump up after watering. For the sticky part, just have a check if there is any pest as they might leave some sap-like matter. Hope that helps.
      Thanks.

Hi, after a months or so, I will check if they have roots and if they do, I will slowly introduce water. Not frequent but just water when soil is dry.

After a month or so, I check them if they have roots then if yes, I will slowly introduce some water.
I have a part 2 for this video showing the progress. th-cam.com/play/PLgOR8jSO5w1Fkpkbkeuyz4K8BE2USyXjs.html&si=qCxa7l6EEmMeXuym
