I watched this to understand my Christian friends, I personally don't follow Christianity but I do want to understand my friend and why this is so important to them
Christianity is important bc it effects your eternity. Our life here on Earth is short in comparison to eternity. The Bible says our lives are like mist, a passing shadow, like water spilled on the ground that cannot be gathered up again. The choice you make in regards to Jesus is literally the most important choice you will ever make. It's really cool that you care enough about your friend to learn about his/her beliefs and what is important to them. I do hope that you pray, read the Bible, and start your relationship with Christ. Sure it's "easier" to live how ever you want, for today, not having to listen to God or worry about it... But in the long run it's not actually easier. Life will be much harder doing it your own way. It's kind of like the kid in highschool who lived for the short term. Got in trouble, rebelled to be funny, was disrespectful, etc. Well life is way longer than high school. That kid ended up working crappy jobs, taking orders from the kids who did it the right way and planned for the long term. All bc he wanted to do it his way. Don't let that be you. God bless! 🙏

I was finally baptized on Sunday June 30th 2019 at the age of 25, after growing up in an atheist household who to this day is very anti-Christianity and anti religion in general. I’m so glad I was able to publicly profess my faith and share my story with other believers. I’m grateful beyond words for gods patience, love, and saving grace for me despite many years of rejecting him and my many flaws and sinful actions of my past. Since I’ve accepted god into my life I’ve felt more at peace and able to handle even the most difficult times with a hope I never thought was possible
Never been able to recreate the absolute bliss I felt when I was baptized. The feeling is unlike anything I've ever felt. A feeling of relief, happiness, safety. You feel the holy spirit joining your soul as one.
24 over here. Started going to a Christian church back in late October 2021. Best thing I could had even done. It changed my life and I'm glad to know that I'm the first one in my family to delight in a closer relationship with the Lord. I look forward to being baptized in the near future.

@Laura White That's how I was but for me was Islam, but was always open to learning more about Christ. Finally I just couldn't ignore it anymore. Jesus is with you always... even when your not ready to let him in yet. Just know he loves you and is just waiting for you to let him in

Born Hindu but saw Jesus and since then I have surrendered my whole and soul to him. I am thinking of getting baptized for the Lord's love 🙏🙏💖💖 getting it done on my birthday 💖 I have already became a believer but I think for my whole body to know this I need to get baptized. baptism is not the way to receive the holy spirit, baptism is just a signal that you are a christian. to get save you need to believe with your whole heart that Jesus died and rose again on the third day for us Romans 10: 9-10

Keep praying and read the Bible and he will come to you in time. Be patient . He may take weeks or years. It took me years and years but he came finally !!! And it was amazing !!! Baptizing is only to share with the world that you have chosen Christ and you’re proclaiming this to them. Don’t give up!!

We feel that way because it marks the end of a sinful life and marks the beginning of repentant life . That means once they come out of the water , from that second to their last breathe they are to live a godly life hating all sorts of ungodly things such as hate, revenge, lust , lie , debauchery , pride , selfish, greed , drunkenness etc.. both in their thoughts and deeds . So it’s not the water that makes us nervous but the life we are called to live once we come out of water makes us nervous , as the world and it’s riches keep tempting us to break our oath we made during baptism.

But the truth is , immersion is just an outward symbol for the faith you have inside , which is the reason you are saved through faith by the grace of god. Always remember it’s not the immersion that saves you (no matter how or where you do it ) but it marks you saved in front of other witnesses that you are saved , so that once you come out of the water the church welcomes you. I believe in baptism by immersion for adult believers only. I know that there are children that claim that they are born again believers, and I have nothing against children accepting Jesus Christ into their hearts as as their personal Lord and Saviour. I believe that baptism, confirmation, and holy communion should only be for believers who are minimum sixteen or seventeen years of age.
I watched this because all my friends keep tryna force Christianity on me, I'm atheist and I keep friends who are religious but space from people who try to force it on me. I don't get the point of baptism but I get it's important to my friends.
I remember when me and my mum used to go to church and i miss it and i was going to get baptized but my mom got a new boyfriend and he loves me but we don’t go to church anymore and i miss it, it was really fun and now we are in quarantine but it’s fun my brother was a stick man out of glow sticks

God does not heal everyone. I know loads of Christians who are disabled and have never been healed yet believe.

Hii everyone my name is Anand . For last few months I feel like I have to get baptized at young age and be a God's son please remember me in your prayers and am 16yr old am gonna give my name in church tomorrow and I'll ask them to pray for me and am thinking to get baptized this new year. I'm not a Christian but I'm very curious how the feeling of baptism is.. My friends told me their excited and worried but i don't understand why they feel that way... i want to learn more about Christian....

We feel that way because it marks the end of a sinful life and marks the beginning of repentant life .
That means once they come out of the water , from that second to their last breathe they are to live a godly life hating all sorts of ungodly things such as hate, revenge, lust , lie , debauchery , pride , selfish, greed , drunkenness etc.. both in their thoughts and deeds .
So it’s not the water that makes us nervous but the life we are called to live once we come out of water makes us nervous , as the world and it’s riches keep tempting us to break our oath we made during baptism.

mark boris I was immersed forward . Some are immersed backward .
But the truth is , immersion is just an outward symbol for the faith you have inside , which is the reason you are saved through faith by the grace of god.
Always remember it’s not the immersion that saves you (no matter how or where you do it ) but it marks you saved in front of other witnesses that you are saved , so that once you come out of the water the church welcomes you.
So, you can be baptised either way. 😎.

I believe in baptism by immersion for adult believers only. I know that there are children that claim that they are born again believers, and I have nothing against children accepting Jesus Christ into their hearts as as their personal Lord and Saviour. I believe that baptism, confirmation, and holy communion should only be for believers who are minimum sixteen or seventeen years of age.

I watched this because all my friends keep tryna force Christianity on me, I'm atheist and I keep friends who are religious but space from people who try to force it on me. I don't get the point of baptism but I get it's important to my friends.

I remember when me and my mum used to go to church and i miss it and i was going to get baptized but my mom got a new boyfriend and he loves me but we don’t go to church anymore and i miss it, it was really fun and now we are in quarantine but it’s fun my brother was a stick man out of glow sticks
