very nice intrepid its compact easy for 1 person to handle hauls 8 scu but has a decent reach looks a touch like the Ion has a longer range then most starter ship nice video man .👍🐢🚑🚑
As a long-time lover of all Crusader ships, I have at least one of each ship, the Intrepid is a fucking ugly ship. It looks nothing like a Crusader ship. There are ZERO Crusader ships where the cockpit is asymmetrically off centre. Reading Spectrum, I had a thought about why this is bad. Detailed criticism instead of the usual, "holy fuck that's ugly!" Having the pilot that far off-centre means that any time you roll clockwise, there are going to be significant Gs sucking the blood out of your brain, leading to an instant blackout. And when you roll counter-clockwise, you're risking an aneurism. If I sat down, I think I have enough info to calculate that... but I'm a few rum and cokes beyond being willing to... 🤣 But on top of that, the Intrepid is out-performed in every way for all mission types by any other starter ship, even the Auroras and Mustangs. The only thing they have going for them is two 1x4 cargo grids (which is NOT the same as an 8 SCU grid) and a gorgeous interior. It's a $25 basic starter masquerading as an advanced starter.
