I literally JUST made an Odd Quest Priest deck that runs that mana 4/6 secret guy to beat up hunters. Mass Hysteria and Physic scream are devastating to them and healing for 4 is super helpful. Stealing Zul'jin or Rexxar with arch bishop is insane as well to help with the late game. I'm telling you it's gonna become a thing when someone makes a good version of the deck
I was just thinking, wouldn't chameleos be good here too? Stealing almost any card in that deck could be crucial and you'll see what to play around/ revealing what type of deck it is.

First we'll play combo decks, and then switch back to spell hunter to beat the other aggressive decks
Um no, this deck USUALLY wins vs most hunters, but not always. You don't always draw duskbreaker to clear the board and Anduin to kill them. If you do, yes you win, but you have to draw those cards u know. If you have anduin without duskbreaker and they have wolves and hyenas u lose, if they have rexxar and u don't have Anduin u lose. Simple as that.
Lol this is what blizzard wanted priest to be, but by hall of faming mind blast and Duskbreaker, priest can't be control.

When in action, Trump looks like my dad, which is strange, because there are no Asians in my family, although like many people, there are rumors of some Indians in our family.
Interesting to note that having 4 mind blasts only gets you 2 extra damage compared to 3 mind blasts when you are Death Knight.

I've been playing control Priest for a month or two now, and I feel like it and elemental Mage have been super under rated ever since the Druid nerfs. Ever since those nerfs, the only matchups I have a lot of trouble with are odd warrior and big spell mage respectively.
Albi Losha I feel like with 2 dusk breakers mass hysteria and psychic scream it would be easy to win
im 4 expansions late but archbishop benedictus actually turned these matchups into favourables cause you beat odd warrior in fatigue and you copy a bunch of removal (and can freely scream) against big spell mage.

10 minutes in, why didn’t Trump just attack with Leokk to trigger Wandering Monster/Explosive, then hit with the other two minions and deal 20 damage mind blast the next turn?
Leokk would probably die even if he healed him and then his other minions would go back down to 4 attack each because Leokk was buffing them.
Odd mage is also doing well against hunters
You could have had lethal when you used alestrazia on yourself. If you had used it on him and used your mind blasts you would’ve been able to win. However he would still have 2 armour so you could’ve shadow visioned and got your third mind blast and that’s lethal

It's gotten to the point where many of us have created an anti-hunter deck. Out of 20 ladder games, I've come across 9 hunters, 5 paladins, and the other 6 have been other random classes.
that's how it usually works, popular decks are countered by decks made specifically to counter them

22:22 why would you ever not ping face in that situation? Sets up lethal and he isn't able to heal up with lifesteal/charge minions. The opponents deck shouldn't run Kill Command.
The funny thing is hunter can still just beat you if you don't have duskbreaker by turn 5 every game cause spellstone is a fun card. Also rexxar on curve is back breaking cause poor hunter could onky win on the early gsme so it needed rexxar to also have the chance to shit on every control deck.
if anyone cares, I put in immortal prelate into this deck instead of millhouse because I didnt want to craft it, and it helps slightly with fatigue, and allows the opponent to misuse a silence/poly instead of on tirion or lys

btw but this deck is shitty versus deathrattle hunters if they find hydra 9/11 with lifesteal, rly

VERY IMPORTANT: Never forget to Shadow Visions into at least one "Thing You Want" (usually Mind Blast or Psychic Scream) before you draw both copies in your deck...
Or you will be very sad.
I actually won a game with Anduin out, Shadow Visions into Shadow Visions, Hero power spam... I don't recommend it.
Mind blast is stupid in this deck, at least if your point is defeating hunter

I crafted an Odd mage and I really like the deck . I win alot but I lose to hunter most of the time. Adding chief inspectors to my deck increased my winrate against hunter significantly
Idk won evertyime against this deck w/ dr hunter @ rank 2 went through 4 or 5 priest playing this exact deck but with divine hymn at rank 3.
not true.... i lost with this deck more then 80% against hunters...
All the secreds and deathrattle hunters beat it easy...
This deck is only good against agro hunters!

The second hunter should have played a little slower and used play dead on the Zombeast instead to clear Trump's board.

Vicious syndicate in the latest report mentioned divine hymn is not at all worth running, and not even primordial drakes. Instead runs 2 holy fires and 2 crowd roasters. Here, omega agent fills the role of divine hymn.
Nikil Kumar this is a valid point but i prefer the 2 divine hymns because you can get it off of the shadow visions, it costs less than omega, and it combos with the DK’s hero power, therefore being way more flexible than omega agent
