Thank you for sharing. I am planning to apply for Masters in Management at HEC Paris as well!! It makes me so happy to hear that you realized you aren't passionate with computer science anymore because I'm pretty much in the same boat with my chemistry degree and wanted to move on to marketing and move to Europe. THANK YOU Mayank!

I'm really impressed that the internships and job came via HEC in some way. As an MBA graduate of the same school, that just didn't happen at all for me, even though I had pretty clear objectives when I arrived in France. Heck, even getting an internship was like pulling teeth. It was exceptionally hard.

Isn't the MIM the flagship program of HEC paris and their MBA is not that great? Because last time I checked, for MBA insead is the way to go.

@@sircar4876 To say that the MBA is worse than the MiM at HEC, and that INSEAD is the way to go for the MBA is a complete oversimplification.

@@amfrance The reason I said that was that from what I knew, HEC is known for its MIM program (number 1 in the world) and according to its employment report, 100% of the students got a job within 3 months of graduating. The same isn’t true for its MBA cohort.

it’s all about networking, the schools are expensive but you pay for the elite connections. but a public university degree is still very valuable if you choose a well ranked school and the most important piece of advice: get the best internships possible, fight tooth and nail to get a good internship

Hard to say, depends a LOT on which industry you work in, where you work, etc. Consulting/finance it can be around €50-60k depending on location or even more like €80k for Middle East etc, marketing is more like €38-45k depending on company and location.
