For me, this was so far the most relatable video of yours. Thankyou for sharing this!..it gives me a hope as a student in France who is trying to build a life for myself. Knowing that all these struggles are not exclusive to me, and your advice helps a lot!
You are so cute. I would also add that it cost me so much money, time and energy to build a commuity in France. A community that I don't always understand but it's part of the package.
I really resonated with this! Loneliness is something not everyone talks about, and it can get really tough sometimes when you are in a new city. For me, going to the gym and joining a dance class really helped me meet people who share similar interests and to make new friends
Thank you so much for penning this down! The fitness thing is kinda new for me, but the common interest thing has been the best hits to build social circle for me
Very similar exemple for me many years ago. Paris as well. Congratulations for your french !!! It is so nice to share your experience for other people! Everything is exactly as you tell. Nice interview in easy french !!!
That text tracking the statue edit always amazes me! Oh rock climbing seems really interesting, but I need to improve my upper body strength for it haha 😂
Hey Josh. Nice to see you back near the top of my algorhythm. Found you a few years back through Easy French. You always seem super nice and you are a wicked smart hard worker. I like this advice today. I’m twice your age easily. I would love to live in France though I live in Canada which everyone thinks is amazing and it is…..in small town Canada. I have plenty of fitness/arts/cultural interests that would help me out. Just need to get the language down and plan a few 2 or 3 month stays to see how it really feels. I don’t think you can survive anywhere in Europe if you don’t do public transit and ride a bike. How do you feel about this?
Another EXCELLENT video! Thank you for GREAT INSPIRATION, Josh! I am currently in my French learning journey.
