When you talk for the contributions of the Islamic Golden Age and showing in the backround the marvelous Roman architecture 1500 years ago,the Christian cathedral of Hagia Sofia.
Hagia Sophia was destroyed multiple times by earthquakes and Christians. It is purchased by Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror and restored after Muslim Turks conquered Istanbul in 1453. Today it exists, thanks to muslims.

To me, the real golden age of Islam, were the eras when the prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam), Abu Bakr and Omar (radhiAllahu anhum) were alive and leading.
We should not boast with worldly achievements. We only strive for those things in order to benefit the ummah (or in some cases like a pandemic for the benefit of mankind in general) and get closer to Allaah.

The question to ask is, why do the West change these Islamic scientists and geniuses names. Why do they have to give them a Western name, so that people know it was western person that did all the work, and to take away the history and pride from the muslims. So that when they are teaching all of this to their kids, they say the western name and lie that it was a non-muslim who discovered all the stuff.
I hope Turkiye can produce TV series on these Islamic scientists and mathematicians. All the muslims know is Einstein, Newton.... but not the actual people that started it or the names of any muslim scientists and mathematicians.

Al-Zahrawi was also a noted pathologist, describing hydrocephalus and other congenital diseases as well as developing new surgical technologies such as catgut sutures.
Some describe Al-Razi (Rhazes), born in 865, as the greatest physician of the Islamic world. He wrote Kitab Al-Mansuri (Liber Almartsoris in Latin), a 10 volume treatise on Greek medicine,6 and also published on smallpox and measles: his texts continued to be reprinted well into the 19th century.

Infact (Book of Remedies) from the 10./11. century isn't by any christian or atheist authors but it's real name is Kitab as-Ṣaidana which no on dares to mention Abu Rayhan Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Biruni whose name is changed to al-Biruni, was a scholar and polymath during the Islamic Golden Age. He has been called variously the "founder of Indology", "Father of Comparative Religion", "Father of modern geodesy", and the first anthropologist.
There are 1000's of such names who were sabotaged by the insecure west and now today's Muslim have no clue about Islam's contribution to modern world.

Because Christians sent fake Islamic scholars to mislead Muslims. Fake scholars told many people about Quran and Hadith which made Muslims think that they are actually true and educated Islamic scholars and those fake scholars told Muslims that you have to worship only God and education is illegal and one day it came that the society started ignoring the educated muslims and started throwing stons at them. Quran Sharif tells us in the beginning to educate yourself and educate your children but the fake scholars of that time misled the Muslims.

Muslims are also educating their children along with their faith and religion. Soon the Islamic era will come again and all the enemies of Islam and humanity will learn a lesson and Palestine will also be free.*
Arabs invented algebra, algorithm, 2/3 of stars in sky have arab names because they named it. Today's Arab people should show interest in scientific innovation just like their forefathers did and get ahead. A new House of Wisdom in Arabia is a must.

Pizza and hamburgers were invented by Italian and German immigrants to the US, yet we consider these American inventions. Atomic bombs and the internet were invented partially by immigrants from Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, still American inventions and few people call said inventions /evil/. Like the United States, the Islamic world was at one time a harmonious melting pot for learned people from all civilizations to work together, learn and exchange ideas. It's civilizations collectively that innovate and invent, not individuals. Sure there were Indians, Persians, Asians and many other non-Muslims innovators who contributed to the Islamic Golden Age, But ultimately they had no choice BUT to immigrate to Bagdad, Jerusalem, Cairo and other Arab cities to see their life's work flourish. Innovation has always worked this way, it takes talent + environment to cultivate innovation. If this weren't the case we'd be reading about how many of these inventions came directly from the civilizations that mearly laid down the foundations in most cases.

What Islam has to do with the Scientific Discoveries? It is a very Pakistani Mindset of defining anything relating to Islam.
It was Islam that motivated early Muslims to seek knowledge and do science.
Scientific method is the process by which science is carried out. It involves observing a natural phenomenon, making a hypothesis based on the observations and verifying the hypothesis by carrying out experiments. If the hypothesis turns out to be correct then it becomes a theory (a proven hypothesis). If it isn’t correct then further observation will be performed, the original hypothesis will be updated and the whole process will repeat itself.
This experimental approach to science is one of the greatest ideas ever conceived of. It is the basis of all scientific progress and without it we wouldn’t have devised laws of physics such as gravity. It is theories such as this that have allowed mankind to create the automobile, computer and travel into space.
The development of a scientific process resembling the modern method was developed by the 10th century Muslim scholar Ibn al-Haytham. Hence why he is regarded as the father of the scientific method and was the first scientist in history to insist that everything be proven through induction, which uses observations and experimentation to challenge previously held theories.
Ibn al-Haytham first studied theology and it was Qur'an that inspired him to study philosophy and science:
*“I decided to discover what it is that brings us closer to God, what pleases Him most, and what makes us submissive to His ineluctable Will.”*
*- Steffens, B., Ibn al-Haytham: first scientist, 2007*
Without Ibn al-Haytham’s scientific method, we may still be living in a time when speculation, superstition, and unproven myths are the basis of science. It is not a stretch to say that without his ideas, the modern world of science that we know today would not exist.
So it is safe to say that the modern world, with all of its advanced technology like the internet and mobile phones, is a direct consequence of the revelation of the Qur’an.

Many of the Muslim scientists were excellent theologians and it was the Qur’an which drew their attention to inquire into the natural world and showed them the path to knowledge and enlightenment:
*Read! In the name of your Lord who created: He created man from a clinging form. Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One who taught by [means of] the pen, who taught man what he did not know. [96:1-5]*
These verses make up the first passage revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It is interesting that of all the things which God could have begun His revelation with, the actions of reading and writing were chosen. Notice how the very first word revealed was a commandment to “read”.
Thus the Qur’an attaches great importance to knowledge and education:
*It is God who brought you out of your mothers’ wombs knowing nothing, and gave you hearing and sight and minds, so that you might be thankful. [16:78]*
God created man and provided him with the tools for acquiring knowledge, namely hearing, sight and minds. Thus the Qur’an reminds us that we should be grateful to God for these tools which give us the means to obtain knowledge:
*How can those who know be equal to those who do not know? Only those who have understanding will take heed. [39:9]*
Here the Qur’an highlights the noble status of the one who has knowledge; they are superior to those who lack knowledge, as one who is knowledgeable has greater understanding. This encourages Muslims to continually seek knowledge:
*Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created? And at the sky - how it is raised? And at the mountains - how they are erected? And at the earth - how it is spread out? [88:17-20]*
The Qur’an draws our attention to many natural phenomena by encouraging us to observe the world around us:
*There truly are signs in the creation of the heavens and earth, and in the alternation of night and day, for those with understanding, who remember God standing, sitting, and lying down, who reflect on the creation of the heavens and earth… [3:190-191]*
Moreover this observation of the world around us should not be aimless but rather we should ponder and reflect on what we see:
*If you have doubts about the revelation We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a single chapter like it- enlist whatever witnesses you have other than God- if you truly [think you can]. [**2:23**]*
The concept of putting ideas to the test is encouraged by the Qur’an. So is the use of witnesses in order to validate conclusions. It must be noted that no other religious text challenges its reader in such ways. The use of falsification tests is unique to the Qur’an.
Let’s summarise these concepts that the Qur’an puts forward with regards to knowledge: using our senses to observe the world around us, thinking and reflecting on what we observe, putting ideas to the test, and providing witnesses to validate our conclusions. If these concepts seem familiar to you it’s because they resemble the modern scientific method i.e the process by which science is carried out.
