Awesome flight range test my friend. Thank you. Drones fly level & straight-out, they stay at height regardless of distance flown. There's no angle changes had. There's no rise, no dip, drop or anything else had. The drone will stay at starting height regardless distance flown. When you force a drone to adjust & correct for claimed globe curvature, it crashes. It will crash no matter how far you extend the distance flown to correct & adjust for claims of physical globe curvature. This is the same for all aircraft. Have a very good day my friend. Be Well & God Bless
At 14:15, you said that you were at "2500" feet. I'm sure you meant to say "25,000" feet! LOL! Drone looks amazing and flies amazing! Really admiring the crisp, clean picture it captures along the way! I think I will wait for the 3S should there be one. Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyable range test but most prefer to see the numbers and the live feed. I try to do both but always run out of storage on my cheap phone thats 4 years old. Time for me to upgrade
You know that’s a good idea I’m gonna smoke me something today since I don’t have to work I got about the same distance as you did this morning. thanks for the video.
Awesome. Made a comparable test with the Mavic 3 and turned around at 8.1km because of battery warning. Had 35% of battery left after return so from this perspective I would have gone further. But connection at 8.1km was way worse as yours at 8.9km, only 2 bars left (CE mode, not FCC). O4 is obviously another huge step forward.
I always enjoy your videos, particularly when you fly over the renaissance festival. If you've got under 10 or so cycles through the batteries, once you get to about that 10 cycle point your flight times should get better. I've noticed this with my DJI drones, at least the ones that use lithium polymer batteries. That may not be the case with the Mini series of drones or other drones that use lithium ion batteries though. Dustin Dunnhill managed just under 9 miles with his Mavic 3 but ran his battery down to 0% which isn't recommended. 😬I've seen some get ranges out to nearly 7 miles (14 miles round trip) with the Mavic 3 with over 20% battery life remaining after landing.
@@stephanuswidjaja105 I didn't want to say it on my last comment but I'm the one who I saw get nearly 7 miles (14 miles round trip) with "a" (my) mini 3 Pro. It did seem that after the first few flights that my maximum range increased, but that may also be attributed to ideal weather conditions. As you know, these tiny drones are more affected with light wind than the larger drones. I have seen one gut push his Mini 3 Pro to 9 miles out one way but when he got back he pushed it to 0% battery life remaining. That's something I'm not willing to do.
Nice, got my Air 3 yesterday took it for a short flight. As i live in the UK i did not notice any difference in transmission, but sadly we don't get FCC mode, hoping there will be a hack soon for the air 3 FCC mode.
@@briandoggett8651 i can't really give an accurate distance as i have only had 1 quick flight with it so far, plus i might of been obstructed by trees. But at the time it was not far from me, prob roughly 300 metres. I am taking it out tomorrow so will test further. Waiting for Freewell to bring out the ND/PL filters also
Im from London and when flying from my garden i can only get 400M with my mini 3 pro in CE mode but 800M in FCC. This was in a high interference area with building obstructions. This is exactly the same range I got with my mini 2. With the Air 3 having double the range you wouldn’t need fcc mode.
@@grizzlybear2702 i had the mini 3 pro also, and was not able to fly that very far, i can tell you that the Air 3 new transmission is a huge upgrade and personally i do not need FCC move now, the o4 CE is really good.
Great video great range you can cancel Return to home I always fly to 55 percent and DJI recommends letting the drone return home at its normal speed they say not to push the speed to the maximum to be more efficient on the battery. But even after the drone reaches below 10 percent battery it will try to go into forced landing but you can push up and continue coming back which is good especially if you’re low on battery when coming over the lake.
Course there were no spotters , if he had spotters they would of known they could head back , he wouldn’t of had to tell them , plus 6 girls have no visibility for 6 miles with that tree coverage
Lies... Hahaha.. There's no woman out there helping you spot the Drone. We all know it's needed for these videos to protect yourself. I'll go along with it though. 😉Great range Brad.
Awesome flight! Excellent view.

It's a good morning to smoke and fly far. Sometimes I almost forget to turn around feels like a 12 hour plane ride. Peace on earth

You had spotters, uhu ;) I've flown mine over 80 miles now and I've not had any signal issues with it so far, it's amazing :)
Great video I havebyet to get over 2 miles
My spotters are larry moe and curley
Another good video, Brad. Can't you use cruise control with the RC-N2? I think you could set the speed you want and let cc do the work for you.
I was thinking that, but couldn't remember how to set it. Thanks!
Never had to worry about battery with the M3pro because the the range was capped at about 800m for me. Good to see the Air 3 with much better range.
not better mate , i have air3 in uk scrap 2km and game over , in city 900meter and game over , scrap

dji air 3 is the same like dji mini 3/4 (use Li-ion)

11miles+ range in those conditions, nice
Could you have used cruise control for the return home to maintain your ideal speed? Thanks
I suppose, but I can't remember how to set it. 🤣
@@CirclingtheDrone I believe you have to use button customization to do it.

Distância menor que o Mavic 3 , consegui chegar a 12.5 km com ele!

8,9km very nice 👌
CE or FCC??
FCC
💥💥💥💪
Ik bro had no spotters 😂
Nothing like doing a range test where that last mile is over water with no where safe to land. :)
9km is top max in CE mode l.
Dustin Dunnhil 40.000 feet 👈😜🤭
11021 m. CE mode :)
