I love how Magic NEVER fails to praise Larry. Larry loves Magic but Magic loves Larry MORE, imo.
They just have different personalities, which you know because you comment on a lot of these. Bird keeps his cards close Johnson puts them out on the table. Introvert vs Extrovert.
I think Magic n Bird have the same amount of love and respect and praise for each other just two different personalities - Magic is more open personality and everyone knows Bird is more reserved also I think Bird losing his father who was his best friend too added to Bird being more of an introvert. But I tell you this. Magic n Bird/Bird n Magic are me two most favorite people in the sports world and their rivalry and so happy their brotherhood friendships beyond inspiring. So grateful to live in the same lifetime to watch these two really as 1

You can really tell from this video that Bird looks taller then Magic even tho they're both listed at 6'9. A lot of players say Bird is actually 6'10+ and I believe that's true.
Magic always looked a couple inches shorter than Bird when they stood side by side. I figured the published number of 6'9" split the difference, with Bird probably closer to 6'10" and Magic closer to 6'8". Either way, I miss the hell out of those guys in the NBA.
