You've done a good job at explaining this. Seed finding is quite complex, seed reversal even more so. It kind of reminds me of some of the early seed finding I did for bedrock.

That is ALSO theft. Just because it’s on the internet doesn’t mean it’s fine to reupload/steal. 3- It does not matter if they credit, because in the end, people don’t want to switch over to TH-cam, search the username credited and then look for said video. We'd just like to mention though that a lot of what you said in the video was wrong or inaccurate, including not only the methods mentioned but especially the timeline of events. Probably the most major inaccuracy is towards the end. The recreation was started from the very beginning, not as a different attempt, and everything we (and andrew) did was done based on the recreation, none of it would've been possible without it. We also never gave up on the flower method, we just took too long to finish it. Also the coordinates we found using clouds were correct, it's not true that they turned out wrong, and also time spent playing was not useful, that didn't help improve the coordinates. This is not (kinda) related to the vid but I also once accidentally discovered 2 seeds that were identical except the other one was a snow biome. This was waayy back then, probably around 2014-2016, I was OBSESSED with the thought of making a Minecraft Cake Factory. Because of that, I used the words "cake factory" as a seed once and it spawned me between a swamp and a plains biome with a village nearby. I kept using that seed in survival or creative mode to build my cake factories. I had shared that seed to a classmate and said that there was no village nearby when he spawned and it was a snow biome. Turns out he typed "cake factory" but had double space between the words. I tried it myself and it was exactly the same seed but no village and it was snowing. Pretty much every year, I visit the seed "cake factory" over and over again to see if it's still the same but of course, it kept changing because of the updates. The last time I visited the seed with no snow, it looked the same but the village was not near the spawn but only a few hundred blocks away. Oh yeah, this was also the same seed where we experienced "Herobrine" shit. 😂 That's a story for another time.
Considering the fact that individual Minecraft worlds are several times larger than the Earth itself and that the screenshot could have been anywhere outside of the spawn location, you would have to do so much coding just to narrow it down to those blocks in that formation... I can't even imagine how long the code would have to be...
Minecraft worlds were much smaller at that time. The infinite worlds didn't exist until an update in 2014. But still, finding the original seed and location like that is mind-blowing
I mean, seeds regulate how things generate, meaning that you could put a seed and a coordinate and find the blocks there. Hooray for Procedural generation!
That's not how it works, the code isn't looking at blocks in words, it's all based on math and the original seed can be found even if you don't know the coordinates of the place.
