Suzuki FZ50 Project- Is the oil pump working?

In this very small update on the Suzuki Moped, I try to figure out why the oil pump is disconnected and if it works.
If anyone know of a way to test the amount of two-stroke oil it should deliver id like to know!

Takes me back to my GT 185 Suzuki I had in 1976. By playing with the pump when riding you could leave a monster plume of blue smoke if you really wanted to
but the correct setting was minimal smoke out of the exhausts.

You have to prime the oil pump ( bleed it of air) or it will not work . They
should be a small screw somewhere on the pump .

Can anyone tell me where the indicator flasher unit is located on this moped?? Struggling to find mine! Much appreciated!

From the service manual from an FA50:The pump should put out .097-.114ml in 6 min at 2000rpm
I’d try and use a syringe to measure the starting and ending volume.

Ja det kunne godt tænkes.... men Fz50eren er desværre væk.... den blev byttet til Skoda 105´eren!

Hello your videos are very helpful i was told i cant go on long trips on my Fz50 because it will over heat could you please tell me is that correct information i would like to ride for hours i hope you dont mind me asking you this.

As long as the oilpump is working right I dont think you will have any issues with long trips. :)
