  • Well after 4 months of waiting, its finally here..............
For those that were not aware, I have been waiting for my 3rd screen (right hand side) for many months. I needed to get the TV from our media room (55" Samsung) for the right screen and had ordered a large 85" to use in the media room. The global chip shortage put a delay on delivery of that large TV meaning I had to wait............was so frustrating.

Looks awesome! I'm picking up 3 65" screens tomorrow, do you think that's too big?

Hi William. It really depends on a number of factors in my opinion.
For a C172 sim, 55" is the perfect width for a wrap around. Using 65" would bit a little too wide if you were intending on wrapping around. Having said that, if you intend on a larger GA aircraft (eg Cessna Caravan) or even an airliner (eg 737), then 65" would be ideal. Make sure you are purchasing TV's with good refresh rate (100Hz min) and preferably with 4K. Whilst you may not be able to run all in 4K off a single graphics card, computer hardware is getting more powerful and ultimately I intend on upgrading my setup to be true 4K on all views, but that is a way off yet......hope this helps with your decision making.
