War has raged for one hundred years, and the exhausted French army has lost nearly every battle. The heir to the French monarchy is too cowardly to ascend to the throne. Soon, the English and their Burgundian allies will conquer all of France---but in the darkest hour, a young peasant girl declares that she intends to save France.

Looks like a stink bug, so yeah, if he tried to kill it, it would release a pungent odor. I live in the Eastern US and an invasive species of stink bug got really bad here several winters ago. So many of them would get into peoples' houses when it started to get cold. You'd vacuum up their corpses in the chimney and even their dead bodies would stink. They'd fly into my hair and land in my food. It was awful. A local apple orchard lost a huge part of their crop to the damn things as well.
Fuck stinkbugs. They are a nuisance and a pest.
@@Leitis_Fella I just kill them when I see them. I don't recall a horrible odor. I do notice they like tearing up plants though. I need to breed ladybugs as they apparently drive away a lot of crop eating pests, stinkbugs included. I live on the west coast.

I wanted to help you guys pronounce the name "Blois" but I have litteraly no idea of an English word which sounds the same [...] Maybe the "a" in "watch" could sounds a little bit like the "ois" sound(?)

6:53 a bug like that once flew onto my water bottle and when I tried to drink, I narrowly avoided crushing it with my hands and instead I saw that there was a giant bug next to my finger (which up until then was on the other side of my desk, like 30cm away from me).
I dropped my water, but got lucky and did not have clean anything up.
Bug eventually decided to go away (balcony door next to where I sit)
Edit: I showed it to another person, and they say that they don't know what that bug is, but that they have a very hard shell and can be very annoying by being slighty attracted to humans, occasionally.
That's a "Brown Marmorated Stink Bug" or as we call it in german, "Chinesische Baumwanze". They came through asia to europe. They stink as hell if you kill them, or if they feel in danger. Funniest part: When they first appeared in Austria (EU) everybody told us they won't make it through the winter. But they're still there.

I thought it was a game bug, not an insect.
The only thing a bug can do against you is project some nasty repelling bad smelling juice (efficient vs other insects or small predators like mouse or bird, perhaps): so scary!
And they fly! Take it gently with a paper sliped under it and throw it through your window: it will open their wings to go away. Don't kill innocent animals! Be brave!
In fact that's what you did! Well done! Remember: if you evily crush it, it smells ten times more than the defensive juice: it is meant for that to discourage predators to eat it (or sneakily crush it)! Voilà!

unique unit: stink bug. slow-moving armoured unit that can climb over walls. strong vs norwegians, weak vs napkins.

The castle in the south is much less defended if they ever do a aoe2 Super Definitive Edition you should just go south XD

New hard mode will challenge your greatest fears in game and IRL, for viper this was a bug xD
Excellent strategy to take out the castle for your objective.
Build a tower near it, garrison in the tower, kill it.

So, I just had to remove ANOTHER stinkbug from my computer. I have no AOE tips for The Viper, but here is a stinkbug tip: Don't ever crush or swat them. Catch them in a tissue or something and let them free or delete the little unit in the trash or toilet or whatever, whichever you prefer but you will certainly regret crushing them.

Okay guys, I will now tell you the actual reason, why Viper won this mission first try instead of second try.
Joan of Arc has 240 HP instead of 200.

Look out for them stinkbugs, They invade my home on a daily basis. How do they get in? No idea but everyday I get a visitor like that. Usually while playing AOE, maybe they just little fanbugs.

Would you try the 3rd map of Dracula Campain on Hard? It's kind of different from HD and I found myself struggling.
Why does the narrator have to be so dark and grim all the time? I understand for the first mission, but now that the soldiers' spirits have been lifted, I'd assume he'd be at least a *bit* more cheery like the one in the original game.
How you built a monastery without changing the era of Castle??

I literally also had a roach thing crawl across my desk while i was playing aoe. but i was doing a ranked mulitplayer match and had to resign XD. i ended up killing mine tho

I find it weird that they used the french accent on the whole narration, using the french word like "Orléans" "fleur de lys", but yet they pronunce "Joan of Arc" in the english way....
