- This is my playthrough of the second mission from the Joan of Arc campaign in Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition. I'll be placing time stamps for each part of the scenario in the comments section for those looking for a specific part. Enjoy!
Joan of Arc Mission 2 is all about timing. You have to secure the outer areas as soon as possible, be ready to defend your newly found camp, then wait for the perfect time to strike. It's not super difficult but it's quite easy to mess it up initially. Stay tuned for the rest of my Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition Hard Playthrough!
The story of Joan of Arc is awe-inspiring to me, and as such it is one of my favourite campaigns. Some of the missions on hard mode are a little bit on the exhausting side, but rewarding once completed!

Agreed, some of the newer campaigns unfortunately did not get quite as much love but they always look fantastic to me.
This definitive edition looks splendid and your gameplay is top notch! I just might end up watching all the videos you've got for this! =]

i used to download bittorent on school computers then install this game on whatever school computer i happened to be using.. hopefully people played it..

Lmfao I conquered the entire map before I realized all you had to do was put the trade carts on the town center...
When I play this mission I'm confronted with convoys of rams and they actually try to break into Orlean.
Same. Yellow rams and red Mangonels.
Same to me. Its very annoying,taking me about 2 hours to win the mission
Shadow, I've started watching your videos since Saladin's mission #4. I was not able to watch your William Wallace, Joan of Arc, and Saladin's first 4 missions.
Have you played the HD Edition or this is your first time to play AOE2 in general? Your style of playing here is way different than your later games...
I've played this game since I was 6, but I started getting into competitive play around February so I started getting quite a bit better at the game in later playthroughs. When I was playing the Joan of Arc campaign I was probably in the bottom 40% of players, but now I sit around the top 10% in DE ranked =D
