The glass is always half full, not half empty! It's all about perspective and beneath that is understanding or lack of it. Appreciation for the positives or only looking at the negatives...
Also.. I didn't know you were sick.. I hope you feel better.. I wish I could give you a flower and maybe some soup.. I'm thinking about your words more.. but it seems to me like many people get angry about childish things. I don't usually particularly see my own childhood as a boon, but maybe it has given me some perspective on how the small things we fight over tend to be trivial, and small moments we spend together tend to be too valuable to express in any comparison of any other gift. Our time and presence is priceless. Choosing to spend them as small good moments, and letting go of small irritations are the opposite of trauma. They heal, and help you connect to those you love and those who love you. Edit: and maybe forgive those who hurt you for who they wouldn't or couldn't be.. ❤ Edit 2: thank you, Rinpoche.. and I really do wish I could have given you some soup.. *hugs* I don't have anything to give you, I'd gladly share some tea and some moments with you.. but I'll leave you an answer you may never see.. because on the way to trying to become a better more whole person, I found your words have value even if I would still like to refine them.. but know I'll think of you and appreciate the food for thought.. and maybe that is how we can accept things we don't automatically find "pleasant".. even if it's not as seemlessly as we accept positive things.. seeing honest criticism as the learning experiences they are meant as makes us stay calm and accept that too and process it to become that little bit kinder.. 😊 Thank you.. ❤
Your way of thinking about Rinpoche and being in care of him is very great and very valuable. But unfortunately Rinpoche left his body years ago. But for sure he will return for the benefit of all sentient beings.
@@holgerdanske3960 Thank you.. I'm actually new to this, but I think it's amazing that we can be touched by people all the same. That the messages can still make people think and feel. Thank you for replying to me .. ❤️
@@a_diamond It is a great gift if a spiritual master is able to touch your heart. That means he has a certain level of spiritual attainment and you have a kind of connection or bond towards this guru which is also a big asset. Some people have this kind of bond to only one guru some people have this kind of close connection to several gurus or teachers. That differs and depends on karma. Finding a buddhis teacher who touches your heart is really great gift. Try to make the most out of it, this is very precious and rare. It is the first step towards liberation and enlightment. Good luck🍀
@@holgerdanske3960 You have no idea how much I needed to hear this just now.. seriously.. thank you ❤️ I hope you find those who touch your heart and being.. so many people all believe they are all alone.. it's never been true. We are connected to one another. Whether you are speaking spiritually or simply biologically.. We are one family. I actually started listening to other videos. One I paused to formulate an answer of my own before finishing the video.. I guess we can learn from all we can perceive a lesson from. Including just now from you. I hope you find whoever can reciprocate that best to you.. Have a cup of tea (or whatever you like) for me, as I can't make you one myself from over here, and thank you.. ❤️
@@a_diamond Thank you very much for your very open and touching reply. Thank you also for your wishes - they became true a long time before you wrote it down here. The great 16. Karmapa, Rigpe Dorje and the 17. Karmapa Thaye Dorje touched my heart. So I'm knowing about what I'm talking about to you. And yes I will raise the glas to your spiritual journey, may it be great and successful and benificial to all sentient beings. Believe and trust in the power of the Buddhas and the Dharma, that is the only ULTIMATE spiritual GPS system in this world.
It's the unfortunate causality of typical life everywhere that tragedy and death befall everyone but the simple recognition of such nonsense as we each experience is vital to immortality. There are people that don't die. Their path is peace.
Buddha Maitreya stated that 98% of the world lives in about 80-98% selfishness and spiritual masters are about 30-40% selfish 60-70% selfless. nobody is completely selfless.
I agree with your first point. Mara does influence negative thoughts like anger. However, your second point? How come all this time only 1 person attained enlightenment? For 2600 years no one did it? If this is the case, the teachings clearly don't work. It makes much more sense to believe there have been countless buddhas in between now and the time of Sakyamuni
@@AverageBuddhist88 yeah the devil is the cause of our effects. But they say krishna and quetzalcoatl were also buddha so want us to worshiphim as such :(
@@howdareyou5800 I don't think so. We say Avalokitesvara, Vajradhara, Manjusri, Vajrasattva etc are buddhas. Not the ones you named. Also by the way Vajrapani is literally in the Pali Canon. He is in canonical Theravada scripture. What do you have to say now? What is your argument against Vajrapani??
