That looks good but, as we've discussed before, I'll be making it with fresh mussels. Clams are off the radar, price wise, over here. That's if you can find any, mate🤷🏻. Salud 🍷👍!
@@HomeCookingSpain They're all farmed in the UK. Mostly Scottish. The best are from my homeland of Wales. Conwy mussels are wild gathered, hand raked, have beautiful oval shells and a flavour like no other🏴!. The packs of chilled or frozen mussel meats are usually Chilean, which is odd because mussel farming is huge in the UK🤔.
Same happens here, the frozen ones are from the Pacific Ocean, the fresh ones which are from Galicia, well they are just too expensive, they cost around €50 a kilo compared to €3.50 which is what I pay for these, so not quite worth it as for that price I can buy nearly 10kg worth of good ol´ pig meat! Today I went for a quick shop and stocked up with another 2 kg of clams, the last 2 bags they had! Gotta make the most of it whilst the price is affordable! And to be honest they are not bad at all for that price!🍷👍

Yeah I understand that... making it with mussels would also be awesome. From what country of origen do your mussels come from? I´m curious 🍷👍
