This is excellent. This is why sensitivity and centerline drills need to be performed. Any one of those could adjust for an over/under, double underhook, etc. grappling situation in a split second. The advantage comes from the striking entry at the correct angle and having the ability to change if you are faced with an obstacle. I'd much rather face an obstacle the way you demonstrated (not head on with a bigger and somewhat skilled opponent. I'd prefer to start on a superior angle as to his. Where I can attack him before he can change and he cannot attack me .
More and more I think, like palm strikes, the hammerfist should be preferred over the back fist. Especially if you don't condition your knuckles, but even then
Normally I don´t comment on videos, but you do such great work on all of yours, that I just have to. Really great Wing Chun/JKD!!! I train WingTsun in Germany and my training focuses so much on structure as well. I love your take on it and hoped, there would be a possibility to train CoreJKD near my hometown of Nürnberg. Best regards!
+raggagamer Thank you for the comment. Actually, we were just in Lüneburg last month teaching a seminar and testing Marco Hildebrandt for certification to teach Core JKD. You can find his location and information at corejkd.de

Thanks
You're welcome.
cool idea using the stairs, but the third move seems more silat like...
+mizu88KA It is indeed very much a silat-like move. Only the 3 entries are Wing Chun.
Hey, what if your opponent resist the trap with full strength. Unlike you I'm very light so I can loose my grip easily when doing the trap
+GamerBlade x Thank you for the question. I will address that in a future video for you.
