Started getting DDE in my recommended about a month or two ago. It's such a great channel as the people in it are just likable and not irritating or obnoxious. Their videos they're posting now of them in Japan are awesome.

This is the story I've been waiting for! Very awesome that Damon saw potential in Dave. And the fact that Dave left his 9 to 5 and went full time into DDE taking the risk is amazing. This is what hard work and dedication can do!

Awesome story from Dave. Having the channel expand to other "hosts" has been a terrific model. Once Dave started to take some of the more regular duties, the channel started to grow even faster. So cool, born and raised in Powell River (not actually part of van isle but everyone thinks is it is) grew up cleaning up in my dad's body shop watching him restore classics and build hot rods. Now I'm head tech at a local repair shop. I watch the DDE channel and tons of vinwiki hoping that one day an opportunity like this will come along! You guys are super humble about it all, keep up the solid work boys!

In all honesty, I started to watch more DDE once Dave was added, his personality along with Damon's just works perfectly, it's easily my favourite car channel.
Dave is far more critical to the DDE formula’s success than I think even they realize. He needs more camera time and is the perfect balance for the way Damon takes the opposite approach with being so in your face with everything. Love the channel, perfect pair for what they’re doing!

This made me tear the fuck up...Maybe it was his dream job falling in his lap or just having such a good friend looking out for him. All I know is that I'm desperately trying to make the same things happen. I love to go fast like Rickey Bobby(track only), I love sexy cars and God knows I love getting my hands dirty doing satisfying work! I haven't had a decent job ever sense serving my damn country and it don't make sense? Over 10+ plus years of being kicked around from employer to employer. My luck had been horrible but, somehow this guy gives me a little hope.

Life is like that. I think of many pivotal moments that could of been missed so easily, and always wonder where i would be if those moments didnt happen or had different outcomes.
Obviously not. Dave joined because he had a Ferrari and knew that meant he hadn’t potential. If it was the integra even after 10 years of course he wouldn’t join. That just means he hasn’t no potential. Damon earns a Ferrari so obviously Dave knew what he was doing so he quit his job. Idiot
