- Got this one out of the back of a friend's barn. In this video I attempted to get it running so that I could take it to the Taberg, NY snowmobile show the next day. I hope you enjoy. Please like and comment if you like this kind of video. Thank you
Had a 72 tnt 292 bought in April of 73 sold it a few years ago to a vintage racer in Vermont
Id love to find a 72 tnt 292 as well!!!
Many years ago I put together a tnt just like yours, had a track and ski’s from a elan and a motor from a Olympic if I remember correctly it was a 335,the kids and I had fun with it! Thanks
Thanks for sharing your story! They are fun sleds for sure
Great sled, enjoyed seeing it in person. Glad you found it!
Thanks again!
Just picked up a 77 elan deluxe today
Thats awesome!
Great find Eric!
I think so too! Im more excited about this one than the 400 fa i brought home at the same time!
From personal exerience back in the day: you'll ride it for and hour, then fix it for a day. Then a short ride, and a long fix. Repeat.
Thats how i remember growing up with our arctic cat lynx 292, work on it all day for a couple laps around the property. Repeat indefinitely lol thanks for commenting
640 T.N.T first Sled 12 years old.. Mom was a motor head.
@@jameshulka7690 was it a 71?
@@benedeem424 don't remember . Fast as hell went threw a ice shanty and kept going 😂

Thats a super nice find. I expect to see some cool footage of that one on the snow this winter! Is that a GEM velocity stack? I have one of those on an HR. They really do add some bling. Haha, shredded drivers!! It's a rite of passage for a vintage Ski-Doo owner
Hoping to see it on the snow as well! Not sure if i’ll have the time to swap drivers. I have some other projects ahead of this one. Not sure on the velocity stack either, i would probably never put one on a sled, but since its there i will probably leave it.
Can you even get new drive cogs for these? But sounds really good for sure a bummer the cogs blew
@@kollinspencer847 yes fortunately there are many suppliers for drive sprockets, bearings, and seals. I was expecting them to go, nothing new on a vintage ski doo!
