- A walk past Vintage snowmobiles entered into the Wanamingo Fire and Rescues Vintage Snowmobile Show and Ride on March 3, 2024 in Wanamingo Minnesota. Unfortunately there was no snow, so only the show was held in 2024. It was a great turnout even though whether was warm.

My Dad got our first snowmobile when I was 12 years old, a 1969 Arctic Cat Panther. Snowmobiled for 37 years after that. We now go south for the winter. I still have my Father's 1972 Arctic Cat Puma 440 and it is in very good shape. Enjoy looking at these old machines, brings back many pleasant memories! Thank you!
What a fantastic showcase by you VM. I want them all, there is some serious retro-snowmobile porn going-on here. I remember seeing most of these sleds back-in-the-day on the trails, frozen creeks and fields as I rode my father's '71 Ski-Doo 335 Olympique. The one snow-machine I never saw in real-time was the Raider Manta or any of that line with the cock-pit design. Something missing from modern snowmobile manufacturing in the 21st century. Great show.
First off the video is very well done but shutout to my hometown , I’ve gone to this show every year they have had since I was little you can even see me and my brother judging a class of 90s sleds at 42:00 Thank you for putting so many new eyes a small show, keep up the good work.
Looking at the 44 year difference between 1980 SRX and the 2024 SRX, never road the 24 but i did ride and owned the 1980, I’d still take the 80s version. When snowmobiles were bare boned, bad to the bone and the first generation to break 100 MPH. What a rush, and 44 years ago, an amazing sled. While taking a break on a cold winters night, the sound of another SRX was so distinct, you could always tell if another SRX was in the area, before expansion chambers were widely used. What a memory!
I have to give credit where credit is due this is the best showing and talking about each snowmobile I've ever seen it took a little time watching it but it definitely was well worth the time remembering a lot of these sleds back in the '70's how times change so fast is hard to believe a lot of these companies are far gone just a lot of collectable memories now thank you for the great memories and very well done explaining each and every model and year with the walk around them best video I've ever seen!!!
Thank you very much for watching, commenting and kind words. There are similar videos in the Snowmobile playlist you can check out time permitting th-cam.com/play/PLAS--06SdFdtaTdf1Su4AF6XtOOpCI25y.html&si=3kgzN7Xm1T7vs5so

lots of very nice old sleds, thanks.
Thanks for the video. You put a lot of work into it.
Still using my 1974 Puma 440 and 1975 Panthera😊
The Days when everyone snow suit had the fresh smell of gas and oil , those were the days of my youth ,
Sled tech has come a long way…geez.
Santa , uses Magic dust to make Reindeer fly , but the other 364 days a year , he rides a Herters
I would think Yamaha would come up with a more impressive name than Sidewinder to put on their 24 SRX, I reckon they thought my generation would forget this name belonged to the Scorpion snowmobile in 1980.
Turn into drone rides.
