Hey Everyone, Jake Inspires a lot of young people in to sports and in following your dreams. I want these younger people to get in touch with Japanese Koi, that’s my goal!
About the pond: it’s around 60cm deep and get even get an extra 15cm of water if needed. It has 2 bottom drains and a bead filter and UV. The pond is twice the size you see on the video. The fish can swim to the other side underneath the stepping stones.

It seems a very shallow and a litlle volume off water, adding so much New fish is almost waiting for the New pond syndrome.
I hope they have a gooed filtration system and that they will check waterparameters very regulry the comming time.
Good question, the pond is twice the size you see on the video. the fish can swim under the stepping stones to the other side. it has proper filtration and bottomdrains. I think its 10,000 liters of water in total. ive posted a update 6 weeks after the koi delivery to jake on my IG.

How deep is the pond in the shot looks shallow ?
More than 2 feet, which is enough because the fish aren’t that big and the coldest it gets in the winter is 20-20 degrees Celsius

Haha, in this case it was necessary because we had to leave the fish overnight at the Cargo Terminal. In the end it all went smooth and nice.

I think Jake Paul lacks the maturity to care for a Goldfish, let alone a Pond full of Koi.
You will be surprised by his passion for Koi and keeping fish. I have a update on the pond 6 weeks after the delivery. I’ll show you soon.

I hope it is not near the Caribbean sea. Would be a shame to see the fish killed by ocean water. In living in puerto rico myself the sea rises are crazy during hurricanes and pools are mostly filled with junk cannot even imagine a pond. I was a diver and had to get rig vehicles that came from top of hills and get them out of pools.

how deep is the pond?
Around 60 cm. Which is enough for the climate in Puerto Rico. The pond was a pond for goldfish and has been convertered with new filtration sytem and bottomdrains.

Hi David, they didn’t. So to clear things up. The pond water is lowered here for the new fish. In total it’s around 60-65 cm in depth. The pond is twice the size and the koi can swim underneath the stepping stones to the other side. It has 2 bottomdrains and a medium sized filter. The fish are doing well extremely good and the water is Crystal clear. I’ve uploaded an update 2 days ago on my socials. If Jake wants more koi we will advise him to make changes to the pond.

The fish pond is too shallow, the water pressure is low, and the koi need more exercise. Their growth rate will be low, and they can't grow into grand sizes in the future. Moreover, they can't have a good body shape and may have a belly.
Hi buddy, plz see the other comments where I reacted. I understand why people think it’s too shallow. Water has been lowered around 15-20 cm for the delivery. Also climate is tropical, no winters etc. Plz see other comments. Thanks for watching buddy 😃

I don’t agree, that pond is more than 2 feet deep and it never gets colder than 25 degrees Celsius in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 yes, it would’ve better if it was more deeper but they have a lot of water to swim in

In Bangladesh you can buy almost same kind within 50-70$ only. Believe me.
Good for you buddy. Thats not real Japanese koi, its bred koi from Bangladesh and you get 0 guarantee that your fish are safe from any illnesses like KHV etc. Be careful what you buy.

What does that do? All were beautiful koi, what was different was not one was anything alike 👀 the next generations most likely will be something off the grid 👀 probably a stunning nice 😊 collection he needs a breeding mop 👀 to save the good ones

I have posted a update 6 weeks after the delivery on my Instagram. The ponds looks amazing, fish healty and eat like sharks. Jake is a real fish lover and love Japanese Koi. Its a very humble and kind guy, it makes me sick so many people have opinions of someone who they never met in person. All based on media or gossip.

First fish in the pond was nearly dropped the level of care they took to get them there and he gets it out flapping 2 m away from pond stupidity at its finest

Sometimes it’s hard to film yourself when you have to produce something nice. The fact we were able to film at Jake was already great which we didn’t knew before. Sometimes it’s not about me but about the bigger picture, promoting the industry for all of us ❤️

He needs to heavy feed them for at least 2 months to get a good body shape.
AT LEAST 4 - 5 times a day and each feeding as much as 1-2% of the total fish body weight.

Fish are in there for more than 9 weeks now and are doing awesome. The pond is twice as big, because it has two sides. It has 2 UV’s a beadfilter and bottomdrains. The pond is twice a week maintained by a professional company.

Jake and his brother are fish keepers since the age of 10. They have salt water aquariums and koi ponds. If you watched the video even his father shows his koi pond on his phone! Such a shame these beautiful koi will be dead in 2 month total lack of care for these beauties this man will give..The lot of you and those who sold them to go into what is nothing more than a water feature pond should be a shamed
Mark, the pond is being serviced 2 times a week. The fish are still alive and happy for more than almost 4 months. The ponds has a bead filter, bottomdrains, 2 UV’s and is twice as big you see on the video.
Its totally nonsense to comment something like this if you don’t know all the specs of the pond. Yes, you don’t see everything on the video reason for that is I wasn’t informed up front if I could film. So it was quick shots and trying to promote our beautiful hobby: Japanese Koi

Hi, I have watched the video for the second time and the fish are truly stunning. The account with the original comment is mine, yet I truly cannot recall writing that. I did watch the video yesterday, but cannot recall making that comment. It is a good video, but to call the people involved disingenuous is baffling to me. Did I write it in my sleep? Don’t think so. I can only apologise for the unjustified comment coming from my account.
