can someone explain how the exp share works for evs? for example, if you have a venusaur in first slot, and one guardchomp in the second slot, will the number of evs gained from defeating a pokemon by venusaur be split between the two or will both venusaur and guardchomp get the same number of evs from the pokemon that the venusaur defeated
The EXP share is what allows the pokemon in the first slot and the rest of your party to gain evs. Depending on the pokemon you defeat, the entire party will receieve the same amount of EVs, but if you make any of your pokemon carry an ev training item, then you’ll gain more evs than the rest of your party
OK, thank you so much! so what you're saying is that if you are using the EXP share, then you won't have to switch train your Pokémon and you will get the same amount of EV's as the Pokémon defeating the enemy Pokémon, and if any Pokémon on your team have a EV enhancing item, they will get additional EV's.
