Awwww but they're so cute when they're that little! Hopefully you can move them on somewhere though Donna. Otherwise it'll be stressful for Maho. Look forward to seeing how the battle progresses!
It was very cute and kind of fun peeking through the windows to see if they're around. Even though we had to evict them, it was kind of fun being part of their early life and teaching them not to trust people. It's been a few days and I haven't seen them, so they may have moved on, and hopefully into the creek valley which should have more room for them. Thanks so much, Matt! (BTW are you still in Cuba?)
A difficult situation Donna this it’s the same here with foxes and rats and even frogs (they are nature’s wonderful gift but many don’t want them too close ) Online your light touch to moving them on 😊🙏🏼 Best regards Simon 🤠👍
It's been interesting seeing them around for sure, and they are pretty cute. I haven't seen them for a few days now so hopefully they've moved into the valley or somewhere safe.
Yes i definitely think coyote trying to make it mark leave it sense especially she had a pups now enjoyed watching Donna hope you week going well, full view and like #5:34
Oh my goodness. It's one thing living in close contact with nature- it's another to be invade. I guess the mother is doing everything she can to raise her cubs in a safe environment. She must feel very threatened. Wow, this was amazing to watch. 🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Very true, she had found the best spot until we noticed her. She might have been the same coyote that had been hiding under there in the wintertime. It seems like she has moved on, hopefully leading her pups into the creek valley where there's a more accepting place. Thanks so much, Anita!
Like 🎉 Thank you for sharing your beautiful precious video, wonderful teacher❤️ I hope you always have a beautiful and wonderful life like a festival. 🙏
Oh wow....thanks so much for sharing your experience with us, Donna. I so understand your concerns about your cat! A few years ago there was a hawk frequenting the trees in the neighborhood; my dogs are small and I was very vigilant during those days!
OH wow the pups are so cute! We have coyotes show up,, they jump our 4 foot fence! I certainly understand why you don't want them denning under your deck. I would think soon they will move along to a safer place for all! My Cat is an indoor cat,, no doubt if I let her out she would be gone :( Be safe out there Donna!
Mine too, while he's very trusting, I've noticed in the past year I can pretty much sneak up on him without him hearing me. It's made me very worried about taking him out there, so hence he gets a human bodyguard at all times. Fortunately I haven't seen them for a few days now, so they may have moved on - hopefully to the creek valley. Have a great day, Brenda!
WOW!! How amazing to watch Donna - not for you, I know, but for us over this side of the pond, it's an amazing sight! Where do you think the Mother is? Does she hide with them? Worried about your cat though
I have to admit it's been an interesting experience and they are very cute! I saw the mother at least once, running away as her young scatter as well. I assume she stays with them at night but most of the times I've only seen the pups by themselves. My cat has actually become pretty clingy, even if we step on the deck he will follow us as though he doesn't want to be left alone. Thanks so much for dropping by!
Cayote seems to like the bottom of your deck. There is also a Cayote that I sometimes see crossing the street towards the neighbours. At first I thought it was someone's dog, but then I looked around and there was no one following the dog.
Coyotes are so resourceful at hiding in cities. I notice the tracks in the winter, too, along sidewalks, but there's no human tracks around to indicate it's a person walking with their dog. Thank you.
Oh my goodness! I don’t think I’ve ever seen coyotes like this so close. The pups are the cutest things I’ve ever seen, oh my goodness. So nice of you to not disrupt the family and think of others options. So funny how you stepping out became a game lol. Their little sounds 💕lots of bushes and thorns should be beneficial to prevent them from avoiding the deck lol! Fantastic video! Definitely they need to move on though despite how cute haha!
Oh they are adorable looking, but at the same time you do not want them living in your yard. I hope your methods work and you can get them to move on. We always have problems under our low deck with fix, groundhog and even skunks finding a whole and trying to live under there.
This was really interesting to see the coyote cubs Donna. They look so similar to fox cubs, which are very common in gardens here in the UK, especially in inner urban areas, more than rural ones. It looks like it has been a little frustrating though! Hope your cat stays safe. Lovely video! Hope you have a great week, Take care, Paul
So far we seem to have been successful. It's been a few days and I haven't seen the coyotes, so hopefully they've moved on to the valley. Hopefully she doesn't try to raise next year's litter here! Have a great day, Paul.
They are pretty cute when they are little aren’t they. I would be worried too if I had them visiting my yard as I have 2 dogs….we do have them in the neighbourhood and sometime I hear them howling. They are fun to watch from a distance though. Great video. 👍😊👋
Thanks so much, Christine! I'm glad to report that I think they are gone as its been almost two weeks now and no signs of them anymore. I think the mother probably took them into the creek valley to teach them more about coyote life. They were really adorable to see though and I never thought I'd end up chasing coyote pups away!
Oh my! What an honor but I can see why you don't want your place to become a coyote den too! They are beautiful little creatures. The little coyotes resemble the young fox to me. Good luck with your quest. It looks like you're doing the right things to encourage them to move along. Have a good weekend and thank you.
I think he tried to notify us a couple of times of the pups. They even would come up to the door, probably curious about where the people disappear to. Thanks so much for watching!
Interesting dilemma The pups are cute but they are coyotes so understandably concerned for your cat Well done climbing under the stairs/bushes to film All the best with this issue Hope to get an update in the future Cheers
Wow! The baby coyotes that have taken up residence in your yard are so cute! However, wild coyotes cannot live in people's yards. I watched with great interest (^^♪
The pups are very cute. We seem to have been successful as I haven't seen them around for about a week now. Hopefully the mom has led her young into the valley for more learning.
Good luck Donna. I hope they move on. Sweet to see the young ones. We have had coyotes here in New York City. They are known to be very elusive, I have never seen them in the park but have seen photos and heard they only come out at night. I was wondering if installing lights at night would help (or they might be too annoying for you both)?
Lights might help, although someone in the area has been playing the radio in the mornings. Some of the urban coyotes are quite bold and can be seen standing about or trotting around in the morning. It's been a few days but it seems like they have left the area, hopefully she has led her young into the valley to teach them some more life skills there.
Hi Donna! Oh my gosh, they sure are cute, but not exactly what you want to be living in your backyard. Is the Mom around or just the pups? I would be concerned about your cat as well. Maybe you need to completely close of the bottom side of the deck? Good luck! 😊👍
He actually wanted food as my husband was making a snack at the time. But he was pretty disturbed by them and even though they're gone he is still very clingy when he's outside and doesn't want to be too far from us. Probably a good thing as he knows we'll keep him safe.
Oh Donna please be careful for your cat and your family too...the Mom will be watching out for her pups for a while. I hope no one is feeding them because they will never leave the area then. I live in Hollywood and believe it or not we have coyote's all the time, it was so bad at one point my daughter had to move because they would be on her steps when she would come home at night and they wouldn't let her pass. Animal control won't take them away, they said they were here before us, and unless they harm someone they don't do anything they just come in and teach you what to do if you are confronted with one. Pick up your arms and start yelling...crazy as it sounds...so please be careful, they are adorable but they will grow in no time...
Hi Donna - very true, coyotes are here to stay in our cities and they're very clever at figuring out how to live among us. I've heard a lot of coyote awareness info over the years, especially with some coyotes that become aggressive. One of our neighbours called animal control and they were informed that it was their problem to deal with. Someone else was playing a radio early in the morning to help combat them. Fortunately, it seems like the mother has moved on as I haven't seen them in over a week. Thanks so much for watching!
Apparently one of our neighbours called but were informed that it's their problem and they would not be assisting. It seems like our neighbours have been also working to nudge them out. Someone has been playing a radio outside in the early morning hours. Hopefully they move on soon.
Thumbs up 👍 Donna dear 😘

Wow interesting to watch them in the garden
Hi Donna, what a beautiful video, except for the cat's concern, it's wonderful to see coyotes in your house. ❤❤👍👍

Hello Donna.
I loved this.
I know you need them to move on, so cute to look at though.
Hopefully they move on soon.

Oh no! We love all the animals but Maho is our first concern ♥
Wow! Congrats at keeping them out from your deck. Best wishes for your cat. So far, our coyotes are still wary of our trail camera night lights.

It can create its own source of stress, no doubt about it.
Definitely! It's been fun peeking out the windows looking for them though.

I hope you win this war, they can be dangerous at times. Nice update.
Thank you so much! They may have moved on as I haven't seen them in a few days. Hope they do well in their new territory.

That must be your cat crying in the background wanting to get out?
Lyndon was making a snack so my cat was voicing that he wanted something to eat as well, lol.

Ohhh they do look cute though. 😊.
Beautiful backyard pups, but they'll make some trouble. You could move them to somewhere, do the right things my friend❤
Would bear urine work as a deterrent?
I think hunting supply stores have some
It probably could. The cat urine is free though.

Oh the pain in your cat meowing...ugh. it obviously does NOT like them near 🙄
