I was given the news on a Friday afternoon. The longest drive home of my life. That was 2015 and I am still here. This song brings me to tears even now. Tomorrow is a gift, not a given. 💜
I know how you feel. I was given that news also. You go into shock. Fear of the unknown. That was in 2014. I had a mastectomy and all the treatments. It's always in the back of your mind will it come back. I try to live my life fully. I created a small business and I work hard at it. I wish you all the best.
While they filmed the official video they had to stop many times because Tim got emotional. This is about his dad, Tug McGraw, a Major League Baseball player who was really good. Tim didn't get to meet his father until he was 17 but they bonded quickly. Tim always has great messages in his songs. Thank you Mr. Boyd for a great reaction
While it has been associated with his father, Tim didn't write the song and it has no connection to his famous dad. It was written based on the story of a friend of the songwriting duo who wrote the song.
One of my favourite songs ever. ❤ My husband taught me to live that way a long time ago…when he was 21 he went out one day only to come home to find that his mother had passed away unexpectedly whilst he was out. We have since lived our married lives one day at a time. Even after 35 years together, we always kiss and say “I love you” when we leave each other, even if it’s only for a trip to the shop, never leave each other or go to bed on an argument etc. You just never know when your time will come and we don’t want any regrets or bad memories if it happens unexpectedly.
Beautiful reaction. Ur right, life’s about actually living life, being the best version of urself, enjoying living life cause tomorrow is not promised. It’s a gift. I think of my hubby when I hear this song. He was 41 when he died from a heart attack, n my arms at our home. Gone..just like that. It changed my outlook on life, my priorities, I have a much greater appreciation of how fast life can change so I try to make the most of every day. I hope others get the message of this song & they live their best lives also❤️
He wrote this watching his dad dying from terminal brain cancer. The message is so simple but the song is brilliant. I woke one Valentine's Day morning and found my 45 yr old husband dead, left to raise 5 children alone. We don't always get tomorrow.
My late husband didn't like country, but, he liked this song. A man came into the waitjng room for radioloogy, and he was talking qbout goung white wated rafting and other outdoor adventures. I said he was like that guy in the Tim McGraw song.
This is one of those songs I can go 5 years without hearing and I still know the lyrics. Country music isn't my genre of choice but there's a good amount of songs I enjoy. My personal favorite song from Tim McGraw is Don't Take the Girl.
I had a massive stroke at the age of 42 died then at age 56 I found out I had cancer, had surgery, then very strong chemotherapy and radiation. Then at 57 had a heart attack and died in a ambulance had two stints put in,then at 58 had another heart attack and died had another stint put in and now I’m 61 and I’m still alive with GODS help and I’m literally lining that song for the past 20 years with only GODS help.🙏📖⛪️🤗
You know, Fu man chu won that challenge. 2.7 seconds is a long way from record breaking (for the cowboy). 🤣 I recently got one of those x-rays. I go into surgery that may or may not be successful next week. But I have reservations to go to Mardi Gras and I'm planning a really pretty tattoo to cover the scar.
Sadly 😥 I can't listen to this song since I lost my late, wonderful husband of 15 years to cancer . Can't listen to.a lot of country songs without crying
Some of these things going on is down right awful and you know it's right? You know, it's so you truth. What we need to do is by a little more country than that. All right?

That's why I stay away from doctors
Bless you.
@@changlyn100 fear of reoccurrence is horrible. I should have mentioned that I went through chemo followed by radiation.

This written for his father, Tug McGraw, who died from a brain tumor.

Country music, especially the good artists, speaks to your soul. ( This isn't exclusive but my favorite genre)
Tomorrow isn't promised. Be a good human.
Facts!! ❤❤
Yes, always be kind

Actually, Tim did not write this song. He found it and dedicated for his father.
I knew you would dig this one. It's beautifully arranged. The message is simple and complex at the same time. It's universal.
Tim gave us a great catalog of songs keep exploring my friend
Tomorrow is promised to no one. Tim has such great delivery of this song. Such a great message.

My personal favorite song from Tim McGraw is Don't Take the Girl.
It’s about his father, who was a relief pitcher for the Mets tug McGraw
Tim is still my favorite after all this time.
Timmy Smith has a great story transforming into Tim McGraw
Tim Mcgraw is a great guy.
You should watch Queen Latifahs Last Holiday movie.

This song is amazing you should react to Nu Breed (ft) Jesse Howard Welcome To My House
And now Mr Boyd you should go watch Tim use this as a tribute to Toby Keith…..hits different
Sadly 😥 I can't listen to this song since I lost my late, wonderful husband of 15 years to cancer .
Can't listen to.a lot of country songs without crying
Tim recorded this just before Tug was diagnosed with brain cancer

Great song, better artist. You want to check out a ridiculously long sustain moment in music check out linkin park, given up!
What, you have no ambition to ride a bucking bull bareback? 🤣
This song is amazing… but it’s also my least favorite country song of all-time. There’s sad country, then there’s existential country and I’m out!
Another one along this lines is
Standing Room Only.
AIS TON Corbin Easton Corbin. That's the brother that sing the song a little more country than
I'll tell you where I'll be a little bit more country than that. I'll write? I'll be a I bet that's where a babe brother
