I kinda feel like everyone’s forgotten how teenagers/kids/preteens actually look because of tv and movies. Like, I’ve seen people say that 15 year olds looked 10 when they just didn’t look like riverdale’s 15 year olds.

The "teenagers" portrayed in shows is generally based off how high schools looked in the 80s and 90s. They're very outdated styles.

I think the reasons why sound in movies are like that, is bevy as the audio isn’t compressed 💀
Compression with audio basically makes it so quiet sounds are the same volume as loud sounds, basically equalizing them to the same decibels. But uncompressed makes them the different volumes.
It’s why you can’t hear them whispering, but can easily hear *an explosion* in the movie, at just 12 volume.

As someone who regularly have sleeping problems, that have now been enhanced to 4 hour intervals at best, because of a tooth abscess. Having neighbors who doesn't understand that the world is asleep when they get up and start a party in the car. On top of the building somehow always having construction noises for years on end, when strangely nothing ever gets fixed. This video saved a bit of my I'll rested spirit.

I went to elementary school from 07 to 14 and we had all the stuff from "Elementary school in 90s" except our lunch trays and projectors were different and our teachers didn't wear the vests.
About that language teacher starter pack, I have two LA teachers this year. Both are female. One left around the start of the year because they were pregnant. The other teacher is also pregnant and is expecting in a month or so. How does that even work.

The thing about TV show high schools is that they were based off typical high schools from the 80s and 90s. They're not unrealistic as much as they just are outdated for today's standards.

I never really liked play places at fast food joints. There were always weird, sticky "mystery stains" everywhere, bigger kids would run over me in the tunnels all the time, and my little sister would always - always - get stuck in the bubble thing at the top. The worst part was that my mom would blame me and my older sister for baby sis getting stuck, because she would always follow us even though she couldn't keep up. I think we eventually stopped going to play places not because we outgrew them physically but because we got tired of having to "rescue" her. I actually feel bad for her looking back, as I'm pretty sure she was traumatized from it happening so much.
