The same thing here. This is the only vid that’s helps. He actually instructs you HOW to do it with the sticks. The other guys are speaking a foreign language with all the lingo 😅 thanks a bunch!
Just stick with it buddy you will get it plus you can always let the cpu score a goal if you get up by 3 that way it’s 3-1 you let the cpu get the puck and pull there goalie you score and make it 4-1 pull your goalie let them score and then when it’s 4-2 same thing let them have the puck in your end and they will pull the goalie go down and get your 5th goal
Because when your in the shooting animation with the right stick your guy stops skating so if your standing still and in the shooting animation with your right stick then start aiming with your left stick he won’t skate
Unfortunately this video didn’t help you but there are a lot of different skill levels and players having trouble with different parts of the game so maybe it’s pointless to you but will help others

Are you moving your player with the left stick or are you simply just moving the right stick right to left?
The over the shoulder goal is the cheese this year.. works especially well if done on the goalies blocker/ stick side
