When people play as all star teams like the all time, Atlantic, pacific and so fourth and international teams it just shows me how bad they are. Because how bad do you have to be to have to resort to a team that will always have more overall than the opposing team. So I’m never scared to face all star teams
Definitely hop into practice mode and get a feel for skating with the puck, stick handling, and shooting! Also, learn to use the Skill Stick controls as they are by far the best controls in the game! Have fun!!
Game 46, you gotta change the the goalie on the fly and do the diving poke check. You are either successful or they score any way, so why not try and make them mad?
I think it’s a little bit of both, there’s still quite a few bugs and glitches in the game, but also a lot of players are pretty un-creative and use the same plays to score over and over again lol
It takes a TON of practice, and awareness. I’ve been playing the NHL franchise for over 15 years now, so the controls are engraved in my mind. Definitely learn to use the left trigger while holding the puck to protect it, definitely is a big help!

You have to hit LT/L2 when they throw a punch to dodge it, then RT/R2 after but it’s a very specific timing that you kinda have to practice!
