Great little Channel update Sir, i look forward to the vast coverage of the NEC, I too will be doing my Watters Wanders round the NEC but I don't know how much I will be filming. Be good to see your videos on Nigel's Cars up in Northumberland. Are you planning on taking on a shuffle up there at one of Nigel's Cars and Coffees?

The thing about TH-cam is that it casts a channel's viewing net very wide. The people who like some videos may not be anything like the people who like other ones. While a channel's viewing figures might go up with one type of video, one runs the risk of loosing a big chunk of one's original following. The best thing is just to make the videos you want to.
Unfortunately, if I literally only made the videos I wanted to make, the channel's output would actually be quite different. This is something that is in common with every other person on TH-cam I have spoken to, it is always a balance between making videos that we want to make and those we think that the viewers might like to see. Sometimes, we are completely wrong about what people want to see, sometimes we are right. If the latter situation coincides with something we are particularly passionate about, then that is absolutely fantastic, but it isn't always like that. The two most popular reviews ever on the channel are not ones I wanted to make at all. With the deepest respect, after all this time and all the videos I have made, I really wish it was as simple as you say it is, but it's actually much more complicated. I have lost count of the number of times I have made videos that I was very excited about, which have often taken enormous amounts of effort, time and sometimes money, to make, and then have subsequent underperformed. It is common for all of us in the automotive TH-cam world to have experienced such things, of course.
