@3:31 but mam, acc to 283(1)(v) BNSS, summary trial can be done for sections with 2 or 7 years punishment also! Pls clarify.. sec 351(3) BNS - upto 7 years.. I think in both ques, for Crpc n BNSS, option D may b suitable as in Crpc sec 260(1)(v), mention of sec sec 454 ipc is there, which has punishment upto 10 years
For the specifically listed offences under Section 260 CrPC or Section 283 BNSS, the eligibility comes irrespective of the maximum punishment for those offences. The point discussed and clarified in this video, pertains to a general rule given under Section 260 CrPC or Section 283 BNSS where the magistrate may refer the case for summary trial. Question no.3 answer is not exceeding six months option c explained in sec 261 of crpc
For question No.3, you are checking wrong section number. See, Section 262(2) CrPC
