thank you for this! helped me so much as a bigger lady who loves coasters, I never have the confidence to try out ride seats when I'm out with friends as Im worried about being judged, so seeing someone around my body shape do this is really helpful

I am right on the borderline with colossus, sometimes I fit sometimes I don't. When I don't there's a free fasttrack.
And a free walk of shame and serving of dirty looks and laughs on the side. With an additional random chance of being recorded and put on a random tiktok/short or being chatted about for the next month :/
This has helped me so much! My friend wants to go in august and she is much smaller than me so it’s always worried me not being about to fit into things. It’s happened once before where I had to get off completely and that was a while ago and I was smaller then, so this video as really help put my mind at ease, especially knowing there are test seats available to try. I always find the swarm embarrassing coz everyone looks at me coz I need a push . I can fit on the normal seat on nemesis inferno. I need to try saw but that one is more the fear of the drop
I’m kinda wondering what samurai is like? because I want to go on but it’s really scary
We havent tried it, as we prefer rollercoasters to flat rides but one thing i always say to people who are scared of going on a ride/coaster, always try it once because sometimes its just fear and you could come off loving it.
Colossus seriously needs lap bars like Sik I like how I get a free inferno fastrack if I don’t fit however about 3 members of staff tried jumping on the colossus restraint and got it to fit by squishing me in it was quite painful I’d say vortex is as bad as that has to be excessively tight samurai is possible for most people I’d say detonator is the mist roomy shoulder restraint
Please don't be put off by the haters - it's probably a quirk of the English language that "plus-size friendly" can be read as a criticism of the park (the insinuation being that if you don't fit, then that somehow makes the park at fault and that the park is "unfriendly" - which isn't the case). How people just can't watch your videos and enjoy them for what they are (hints, tips and reassurance for the larger person) is beyond me. I think some people just like being mean for no reason, and be rest assured, pretty much every one of them are cowards who hide behind the relative anonymity of the internet - it's the same on Twitter and the rest. Just you keep on doing what you love, and live your best lives! You are both so honest, genuine and funny people, and it would be a shame to let ignorant people stop you from making your videos. Your videos are great - keep up the good work.

When I went Alton towers once with school we were going on smiler and their was this guy in front of us who was bigger and he got told to get off bc he was too big but he waiting in line for like 2hrs
I went to Thorpe Park this weekend and found it so plus size unfriendly :( I fit on everything but had to be squashed in so much more than I have at any other park, and the restraints were so much tighter than I’ve ever experienced!
Also I’m nowhere near 51in chest but Colossus was horrendous :(

I am sorry to hear that, i forget about some of the flat rides around that area because we very rarely go on them.

honestly it gets to the point where the question becomes “am I thorpe park friendly?” because its not the parks fault if you can’t fit yourself into the restraints because you’re not burning off all the calories you take in
as i’ve said above, you’re completely forgetting people with medical problems that cause them to gain weight.

i’m 5”11’, have a chest of 45 inches and a waist of 38 inches would you imagine that i could fit on colossus as i’m too embarrassed to try the test seat in front of my friends

I feel maybe Thorpe park should have 2 seats in each carriage that are plus size, just so that it’s that bit more inclusive
amusement park should not adapt. for plus size. then there will be fewer places and longer waits.

Hi, the seats can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes but they are normally ok. I have thick thighs and slightly wide hips myself and manage to fit, sometimes with a push but still fit. Hope this helps and hope you have a great time when you go.
No one should be promoting unsafe riding techniques.
Restraints are to restrain you and secure you.
If you choose to abuse the ride requirements, you have no-one else to blame but yourself if something unfortunate happens.
If your body measurements exceed the ride requirements you could be putting stress on the restraints.
How are these unsafe? Being a plus size girl myself these videos really help me.
If you haven’t got any nice to say on someone video then don’t say it. I think these videos are very helpful
At some point I think there comes a time that we have to admit that there are some things that people of certain body types cannot do. People who are very overweight (whether or not it's due to some kind of medical condition) cannot go on these rides. It's the same for people who are very tall or very short, people with heart conditions, etc.
You would have to design these rides to either be tame as all hell (removing the venom from the snake at that point imo), or they would be wildly unsafe for people if the restraints were made to be that loose. There's some things in life all of us will find ourselves unable to do, which absolutely sucks, don't get me wrong, but it's something we have to accept.
